official new Fast Forward ep discussion for "The Day of Awakening" 07Oct20

If you have to miss one of these last two eps of Fast Forward, you don't want it to be this one. Nearly two days early, people who have already seen it can get a head-start on this discussion. But, if you do, please be considerate and use spoiler tags. Thanks! ^_^

Not too bad of an episode, but that was the problem, it was only an episode.

Felt a tad rushed but I think they had a limit to how much they could do *Episode and budget wise*and had the series not been canned I bet you anything this would have been a cliff hanger season finale.

I actually thought it was a very good idea to have this Shoko'nobo story end really nicely and compact. There was pretty much no reason to stretch this arc over any more episodes, and I'm glad it ended the way it did.

One thing I liked about the way FF was paced is it switched off between the two villains of Darius and Shoko'nobo, if they just focused on one of them the entire time it would have gotten far too mundane.

I'm not going to spoil anything else for those who haven't seen this yet but its a very good episode and its written by Murphy no less.

It wasn't too bad. It is the end of the story arc and I guess they wrapped it up well enough. I also feel it could use maybe an episode or more to develop it a little better, but all things considered, it's not bad. There's plenty of action in this episode too.

I liked it. I wish they had shown it as the finale, like in the DVD. That way both Torbin Zixx and Sho'Kanabo/Viral would have gotten closure.

I think it is a good FF finale. I hope to see the Turtles get back to their regular time soon. I hope they do not stall anymore.

I thought this episode was good. It was nice to see Sh'Okanabo for probably the last time and I felt he was much more threatening this time around. I felt the action lived up to my standards and nothing was really overdone.

Now, next week's I kinda have mxied feelings about, but I'm still interested in seeing it. I wasn't really anticipating to see Torbin Zixx again, so I guess that came as a suprise.

But WHY won't they give Darius the same closure?

I saw this episode yesterday, and I felt it was just a bit rushed. I just wasn't feeling it. From the way people were talking about it, I thought it was gonna be awesome, but it wasn't. Granted, it wasn't the worst episode, but it wasn't the best for me either.

But, next week's will be a real let-down if you were expecting a grand finale... That was my point. I didn't mean to make it sound like it was spectacular, just more conclusive than the actual last episode.

Which is why I'm glad this one is the last episode on the DVD itself. They can air it how they like but in the long run I say they did the right thing.

They probably will, they have to show the guys being brought back to their time I'm sure the last episode will be them finishing off Darius. They won't leave Cody in danger.

Well had the show been allowed to continue I bet you the episode would have been a cliff hanger finale.

Yeah, but it didn't even seem like a cliffhanger. It was just rushed and a little too predictable, though the fight scenes were pretty good.

Good episode. Could have been more fleshed out but is that not like most FF episodes?
