Food Fighters

Anyone remember these? They came out about the same time the turtles were out. They were cheap little rubber toys that look like food and they had weapons and junk. They were the coolest, I was wondering if anyone else has heard of them.

Those were awesome. I loved Food Fighters.They had the coolest figures, vehicles and base. That would have one of the COOLEST CARTOONS EVER. They should have made a cartoon.

Gosh bless the random wackiness of the 80's

Its funny, mix this with Yu Gi Oh and you got that really bad cartoon on fox Box called Fighting Foodons.

WHOA thanks for the great flashback, Mondo. Next to the turtles, these were the only thing I played with. They were GREAT toys. I'm thinkin about buying the originals carded and loose, they are pretty cheap right now.

Yeah, but not many right now are listed. There was a lot for all of the figs carded on near mint cards, but the auction is over and it went for 87!

I wish i had them. My parents never got them for me. My babysitter had the cookie guy Chip the Ripper. He was so cool. Have u seen the vehicles they so rocked. I mean what kid woulden't want a egg carton as a tank? And the Fridge as the base with a jail cell and a popsicle missles. Very Cool. I think this show deserved to have a cartoon. Too bad it didn't get one.

I heard someone talking about this, saying how fighting foodons is sorta the modern version of this kinda stuff.

Nah Food Fighters is much better. Fighting Fondoons are too Pokemon-like.

YEAH-HA!!! Food Fighters is the best. They should have made Food Fighters into a show instead of Fighty Foodey Goodey. There the same idea only Food Fighters is much better. And they could have broughtr the toys back too.
