Okay, quick question about the new season sets

I'm sure this has been asked a bajillion times, but I can't find the threads with the answers, so I'm gonna ask it nice and quick.

Are the short animated "profile" segments which were included in the early DVD releases included in the season sets? You know, those profile shorts that featured animation from Dong Woo, looked really nice and focused on individual characters, technology or other aspects of the universe?

I know the Laird interviews have been omitted, but I could care less about those. These shorts are the only thing that's keeping me from getting the new season sets.

Then I guess I'll be sticking to my old releases, having to stick disks in and out so I can watch the episodes in order.

Thanks!

Yes, but the old 3 episode releases also lose the pre-theme song intros when season 2 starts. You get the "complete" episodes in the season sets.

Well yes, for some episodes (they don't have those intros) anyway.

The only thing for me thats worth buying these new releases for is the art work and the fact that they got rid of the 1,2,3,4, teenage mutant ninja turtles!!!!! between each cut, cause god that made me die inside everytime it happend.

I gotta say, I'm not one to really care what others think of me, but everytime I heard the little cuts between episode breaks on the old dvd's and know they were sounding throughout the house for everyone to hear, I'd cringe a little

Yes me as well, it was really embarrassing when I'd show a friend the new show dvd's and it did that.

Why not just buy it and keep them all? Watch the shorts on the original releases when you want to and use the new releases so you can skip the intro and see more then 4 episodes a disk. really it's sooo much nicer.

Speaking of those cuts they were so annoying on some of the DVDs where the volume was really low cause that crap would cut in and blast out my speakers.
