Midtowncomics.com is listing Tales 45 as coming out on Wednesday April 23rd.

Here's the description:

You know, they've been doing a LOT of Lovecraft-inspired stuff in this volume of Tales. Its like the guys at Mirage just discovered the author and now they can't stop referencing and homaging him.

I don't think they'll ever marry. They will live together for a while as shown in Tales, but they'll never marry. It wasn't indicated that they would.

Raphael's the only one of the guys to ever marry. Course he ended up marrying the great-granddaughter of a former girlfriend (Ninjara) *lol* Course that's the Archie stuff. Would have loved to have seen Raph and Mezcaal's wedding.

Yeah but that's Casey and April's wedding. We've already seen the proposal in the books so I guess we'll be treated to the wedding on the show. It'll be like the wedding of the year comic book/animation wise.

I've always found this intriguing and disturbing at the same time, y'know. Unless the fox-folk live very short lifespans, it is likely they live about as long as humans since they are anthropomorphic mammals. But for the sake of using a shorter lifespan, say Ninjara lives 35-40 years. She could be in her early to mid-twenties when she and Raph split. So she has a pup, it grows up and lives about 35-40 years and has its own pup, who in turn grows up.

That means Mezcaal is about 100 years younger than Raph! It is pretty reasonable to beleive that the Turtles will live several hundred years based on their mutated DNA. Perhaps the first hundred years of the Turtles lives are like the teenage and early adulthood stages (13-28 human years?)?

My point? Imagine banging your gf's barely legal great-granddaughter while your 100 and having her ask you while cuddling "Hon, what was my great-grandma like?"

Considering Ninjara's grandmother and the biatch Kyota I'd say that the Fox people live a regular human life span. Mezcaal even mentioned something Ninjara once said...while she and Raph were in bed.

In the Archie series the turtles were expected to live for 400 years. Raphael mentions this to his Future self.

Man I loved the future stories! That was the true turning point in the Archie series for me. I remember when I was around 9-10 reading that issue where they were in bed and knowing what it implied and having mixed feelings about it, but all of them were good!

Shredder became a badass, Armaggon sort of scared me, Verminator was menacing, and the Turtles were reduced to two (so it seemed). What was the deal with Leo and Mike being in stasis? And why did they not have a different look like Raph and Don did? That puzzled my adolescent mind as well.
