Chris Allan and original TMNT covers #71-75

Someone posted about wondering whatever happened to Chris Allan, the artist for the tmnt archie series. It took me awhile but I found his current website. Yay!

Here it is: http://www.ak-studios.com/chrissite/chrisportfolio.html

He has the original covers for tmnt adventures #71-75 which reveals some interesting details. I emailed him about whether he could give details and/or sell artwork from those never published comics. I'll write again when/fi I get more info.

Woow....

hey, hey, easy on the 'early years'....seemed like they wanted to do that before some of the major miniseries, like they did with Blindsight. Just something for the readers to enjoy before the drama and chaos...

Hey that was really cool...

Back when the Archie series suddenly ended I was SOOOO confused as to why they suddenly stopped making the comics. I mean, I was 8 yrs old or so and I didn't know any better but nevertheless I was devastated when I couldn't go to the Jewel anymore to check up on whether they had the latest issue of TMNT.

My fondest memories in the whole comics scene was when I came home from school one time (I'm guessing in elementary school) and my mom had especially went out to buy me one of the comics in the Terracide series, the one with Candy crying in front of the grave of the Mutanimals (man it sucked they died) and also when my Aunt's boyfriend gave me the first printing of the #1 Mirage Vol. 1.
