Best episodes of 2003 toon?

Okay.

So I'm thinking of going over the 2003 series. I have heard lot of "time-travel" season" and "lost episodes" and aren't sure what they are, but will hopefully find out.

From the 2003 series, I've only seen a handful of episodes from season 1. They were dubbed in finnish, so that's the only reason why I didn't get too into tuning in more.
A friend wanted to see episodes that had Usagi Yojimbo so we checked those.

Now, I'd like to ask you guys, what are the "best" or most important episodes that I should look from the '03 series?

Well, there are basically many great episodes (in each Season).

Will start by saying: the series is heavy with continuity, so best to watch from the beginning.

hey welcome jukka to the drome

honestly there is too many to count for me to just throw out a few episode names. I really enjoyed the first episode of the show obviously. It's what got me started on the series.

I really enjoyed the baxter stockman storyline in this series and how it all leads up to my favorite episode "Insane in the Membrane"

I suggest watching the whole things but:

Season 1: Things Change, A Better Moustrap, Attack of the Mousers, Darkness on the Edge of Town, The Shredder Strikes, The Shredder Strikes Back, Return to New York, Search for Splinter.

Season 2: Turtles in Space, Secret Origins, What a Croc, City at War, Rouge in the House, The Big Brawl.

Season 3: Space Invaders/Worlds Collide, New Blood, The Christmas Aliens, The Darkness Within, Hun on the Run, Bishops Gambit, EXODUS!!!

Season 4: Cousin Sid, I Monster, Aliens Among Us, Dragons Rising, Scion of The Shredder, Prodigal Son, Outbreak, Insane in the Membrane, Adventures in Turtle Sitting, Goode Genes.

Season 5: Uh... no comment.

Season 6: The Freaks Come Out at Night, Bad Blood, Timing is Everything, The Milk Run, The Fall of Darius Dunn, DNA is Thicker Than Water, The Zixxths Sense, The Day of Awakening.

Those were just my favorites, mostly. Ther's alot more episodes that I like alot, and most episodes are very signifigant to the plot.

I'd recommend just watching the entire series in order. The show is continuity based so you'll likely be confused what's going on if you start skipping episodes.

Just watch the whole thing, its only 142 (?) episodes by the end of Season 6.

I really enjoyed Lone Raph and Cub, I really like it when they take characters and play around with diffrent sides of their personalites and have them in diffrent situations.

Same as it never was...not just cause it was "dark", which was definitely nice. But I just thought it was put together well. I love seeing Mikey's first future appearance, while saving Don...that was pure awesome.

I'm bookmarking this thread for future reference, for I've long wanted to explore the newer 'toons, too; what little snippets I've seen pleased me much more than the '80s toon...

Yeah I really enjoyed Lone Raph and Cub as well. I know its the clasic "so and so goes blind" episode, but I was glad Raph took it standing up. Being totally blind myself, I was so happy he wasn't going around feeling sorry for himself. He really had to depend on the kid and they had to work together as a team throughout the story. But I like all the 2k3 episodes, really. The continuity is just brilliant and I don't really have a favorite. Lone Raph and Cub'd be near the top of my list if I did, though.

There are so many interesting stories in 2K3, it's hard to choose! The first ones that come to mind are: The same as it never was episode (season 3) and the city at war arc (season 2).

Shredder Strikes and Shredder Strikes Back are always going to be my two favorite archs. City at War was amazing too.

Individual would have to Same as it Never Was. There were quite a few solo stories in Series 4 that was amazing! That was probably my second favorite series aside from 1.

Trust me. It's worth watching them all, starting from the beginning.

It's rare to find an episode that isn't fantastic, and almost every single episode is either important to the overall continuity of the show, or contains story elements that come up again in later episodes.

Seriously, watch them all. You will not regret it.

For the first season my favourite episodes were definetly "the shredder strikes back" episodes and "the king" I also really liked "space invaders" from season 3 and the "big brawl" stories from season two - i haven't watched most of season 2 and 3 yet, but I really liked the second half of season 4, I think it has the better episodes of that season. I also liked season 5, the "lost" episodes - Ninja Tribunal, I know this season annoyed a few people with the magical/mythical side to it, but as you can guess from my name I really liked it as it had two of my favourite things, turtles and
Spoiler:
dragons!!

the fact that the turtles turn into dragons is common knowledge at this point you don't have to put it in spoiler tags.
