One of the things I liked about Carter was the fact that he wasn't a hip hop stereo type of an african american male.

Assuming you're referring to the first post, it's really not. Seems like a newbie trying to earn cool points with a creative expression of what they believe to be obscure knowledge. So, let's just humor them for a bit, eh? It's a decent start.

Clasic 'toon Shredder did look more brown than your typical asian, but lighter than your typical black man. He looked Thai IMO...
