Where was FF going before it got canned?

I was just wondering, and I know it's probably a long shot, if anyone knew for sure what 4kids was planning to do with FF. Things were just starting to roll when they decided to shut it down.

I was excited to see this particular event play out from "milk run" but after they set it up, they never resolved it.

I thought it had potential.

More Viral would have been fun too since she just fit with the whole future cyber thing.

Since I understand it may be asking too much for facts on this I'll pose another question. Where do you think they were planning to take the series?

I'm not sure the details, but I think anything that might if been in FF will probly be used in BTTS...well hopefully. I think the story lines in FF had potencial.

I also heard something about a space uasgi that was supposed to regular Usagi's decendent.

I forgot what website but there's one guys blog with storyboards from unfinished FF episodes that you can check out. I'm sure someone here has a link.

It looked like it was going to continue on the path it was going. I have a feeling the last season would give us closure on the Darius and Dark Turtle arc as well as introduce a few new guys. Since all the loose ends but Darius were tied up I'm assuming they were only going to do maybe a half season before shooting the turtles back to the past. I believe they would have re-introduced Viral at this point as foreshadowing to what's going to happen.

The fact there's FF turtles Back to the sewer style makes me so happy that they will start in the future. So I hope the first two or three episodes are an arc of them finishing up their future business. I don't see the turtles leaving even if Cody fixes the machine until Darius is taken care of. People always say the turtles aren't in character in FF well leaving Cody in danger isn't in character either.

I wouldn't mind the first few episodes of BTTS being an climatic fanale to FF right before they get shot back to the present. Although I Cody's jerk Uncle got taken cared of already?

Last episode featuring him was "DNA Is Thicker Than Water" which he didn't even face the turtles in so he's still at large and so are the Dark TMNT. He's still out to kill Cody.

Which is pretty dark for this season. Darius wants to flat out kill his own nephew.

Absolutely, Fast Forward is not all fun and games as I and several others initially thought before giving the show a chance. A particular favorite scene of mine is from "the fall of Darius Dunn" I think, when Splinter confronts him and says something to the effect of "I've met many monsters in my day Darrius Dunn, but it takes a particular breed of monster to terrorize a child!" something like that, I'm sure someone here knows the exact line, but I always loved that, and I felt it was very in character for splinter. Not only that, but I thought it was great that the issue of a child being endangered by an adult was finally brought to light. It happens so much in these cartoons, and NO ONE ever comments on just how revoltingly sick that really is. Fast Forward is truly more than meets the eye and I hope people appreciate it more someday.

From what I remember, the second season of FF was only going to be 10 episodes long. What we had seen in sketches/unfinished storyboards:

- Space Usagi was suppose to appear

- A "Triceraton Shredder" type of character was going to be introduced

- An episode title named, "The devil and Baxter Stockman" was shown on one of the storyboards, this might have been an episode where Baxter gets a new human body and had to cope with the sins of his past, something I really wish we got to see.

- Darius and the Dark Turtles would have likely had their subplot resolved

All in all, I really wish they had at least produced these episodes. 10 more episodes could have wrapped up FF nicely, and would have led the way to Season 7 a lot better.

That's the biggest problem I had with FF. It took them too long to do anything epic, since they basically spent the first 13 episodes establishing stuff that was blatantly obvious. They really wanted to turn the show around, and it's evident in the second season of FF (once again, I count it as 2 seasons). Had they spent more time on why Bishop wanted to rule the world, and less on how they like to play video games, we would have had something better than it was.

This Devil and Baxter Stockman thing is news to me, though. Heard about everything else.

I'm pretty sure "The Devil and Doctor Stockman" WAS the episode with the Triceraton Shredder. Stockman, doing his duties as Secretary of Agriculture (with his human body) was attacked on an asteroid by the Triceraton Shredder, and the Turtles had to save him.

The guy who had them on his blog has taken them down. I believe I saved the images somewhere on my harddrive; if I have a few moments I'll try to scrounge them up.

Actually I wasn't trying to be a smart ass, I just making an observation. Not every thing people say on here is cheap shot at FF.

That's a theatrical movie, Disney(Pixar) still continues to make great stuff as far as that goes, but their TV front is garbage (although I admit, I laugh at Phineas and Ferb alot.)
