Bigger picture.

I have the above volumes of TMNT manga for sale. I'm selling these directly for $15/each, which includes shipping within the US. Condition on all of them is used, but they're still good.

PM me if you're interested. I'm not selling these as a lot, so you can pick and choose as you please.

This is the last of the TMNT manga I have for now and I don't know if I'll be getting any more.

I'm curious as to which episodes were adapted in each manga issue. It seems like each issue did two stories a piece from the first two seasons.

Awesome, I'm looking forward to checking out some manga TMNT. You wouldn't by chance know the translations for the dialogue would you? (Outside of knowing the original episodes well, of course).

I've never read a manga before. I hope the reverse page turning doesn't give my brain a headache!

Has anyone ever seen the Super Turtles (スーパータートルズ Sūpā Tātoruzu) 3-issue mini-series that featured the "TMNT Supermutants." or the Mutant Turtles Gaiden (ミュータント・タートルズ外伝, Myūtanto Tātoruzu Gaiden?), which was (according to wikipedia) a re-interpretation of the Turtles story with no connection to the other mangas?

Hmm, you wouldn't have any UK comics for sale would you? There is a thread discussion going on about those right now.

Don't have Super Turtles (yet...).

Gaiden is an online fan comic. Unless you're referring to something else...

No UK stuff, either. Maybe eventually.

Ah, looks like the official site only lists the 3 issue "Super" series, the 15 issue series, and the adaptation of the 3rd movie. I am aware of the online Gaiden fan comic (pretty good stuff), but wikipedia led me a little astray (imagine that!).

Maybe Dan Berger and the Mirage guys would be interested in some of your scans/pictures of the mangas for the official site?

Congrats on selling the batch, Rose, and thanks for giving me the opportunity to pick up a couple! Here's a picture I found a while back of the covers up to 13 and TMNT III (I think it was your post I got it from). Do you know what other episdoes were adapted?

Those last two aren't proper manga, but rather they're larger-sized board books aimed at younger readers. I actually have the Grbyx one as well as one for the third movie.

I just got mine in the mail yesterday and WOW! These are even better than I expected. The art in Volume 7 is amazing, especially Baxter's fly-form. I'm especially glad I got this one. Volume 9's art isn't quite so detailed, but it is still cool.

It took me a while to notice that the covers are really dust jackets with games and art work on the inside. Also a nice surprise.

It's too bad I don't have a clue how I'm supposed to read the text. Some text looks like it reads right to left and some looks vertical. Good thing I know the original episodes so well! Overall, I am more than satisfied. Thanks, Rose!

Any advice on how to preserve these comics? Traditional plastic comic slips probably wouldn't be the best option.

Haha, I just throw all my manga on a bookshelf.

If you want to take extra care, just put each book in your basic comic book bag and neatly fold over the loose ends like you're wrapping a package. That's how I have my Archie Digests stored. Lemme know if you need visual aid on that.
