Haunted Pizza Confusion

Ok... Just found back issue of TMNT Haunted Pizza and bought it. Really funny story.
In the book while the turtles are fighting to exercise , in most pages they are calling each other unrelated to the weapon they use. First i thought it was a typo which is very unlikely, then i thought it might be their kiddy days so that did not each have specific weapons, but that idea was dead as well cause they seemed big enough and later April entered the scene which proves they were adult... I mean at least teenage

Any info about that? Cause i am really curious.

i don't have additional info, but it makes sense that they could train in all the weapons, even as grown ups. what if your bo breaks? use your homeboy's sword!

To be effective killers, of course any one of the Turtles would have been trained and become familiar with any one of a number of weapons... certainly including their fellow brothers'.
