The origin of Pizzaface

Back in the 90´s , I had great difficulty to find some figures. Mostly, the 1989 series like Baxter, Krang, Leatherhead or the Rat King. I don´t know you but at first I was only interested in the figures that had appeared on the Tv Show.

However, the toy stores of my area were full of 1990s characters like Ray Fillet, Panda Kahn, Fugitoid and of course Pizzaface. It wasn´t that I didn´t like these characters (they had the same great details and quality) but they seemed completely strange from the Tmnt Universe in those days.

So, without any more better choices, I bought a Pizzaface and with the absence of some main villains, I had to give him a bigger role. After I read his clipped portrait card, I thought to “improve” (In my view) his origin story.

Then, I decided that before becoming Pizzaface, he was an Italian Mobster (like Tony “The Butcher" Vivaldi or Big Louie) operating in New York city working part time for Krang and The Shredder. I thought also that he could have a Pizzeria (Tony´s or Louie´s) to hide his real operations and his Hideout could be beneath it.

After a considerable number of failures, The Shredder decides to “dispose” him (specially because the last time Pizzaface betray him). So after a Gang War inside his “Pizzeria”, The Shredder would tied him up and cover him completely with pizza (some ooze would be pour by accident by Bebop and Roksteady in the coovering process too) and then he would put him in a huge Pizzeria oven (an oven and action similar like the Shredder did with the turtles in the episode “Cowabung Shredhead”).

Shredder leaves, and the Turtles arrive thinking that he would have to stop a gang war but instead would find the pizzeria empty and a “familiar smell”. They would cut a big piece of pizza and then leave.

After that, Pizzaface wakes up in terrible pain, crawls to a nearby mirror, try to wash his face but soon he realizes that he cannot remove the pizza traces from his face, body (as a result caused by the ooze) and that he has lost his right leg! Furious, He sees a video tape filmed by his Pizzeria´s security cameras of what had happened (all the Shredder and Turtles actions). Almost completely insane, he swears revenge againt both the Shredder and The Turtles.

Using his mafia remaining resorts and fueled with hatred he manages to transform his Pizzeria into a ten floor threatening fortress, fully of deadly traps but still looking as a Pizzeria from the outside.

Power and abbilities: due to the “baked and mutation”, Pizzaface gained super-human strength and agility. He is very intelligent although mentally inestable. His weaponry is moslty related to pizzas (flying sharp pizzas, exploding pizzas, poisonous pizzas among others) but also his fortress counts with missiles, laser beams and other dangeorus stuff.

Appart from his Pizzeria- Fortress, he designed a Pizzeria Mini Shop Mobile (that also flights) which is also a deadly weapon. Not only his main goal is to destroy his two enemies (by inmersing them in hot tomato sauce for example) but also is the global domination.

After some deadly encounters with the Shredder and realizing that the Turtles are a big thread for both of them, He reluctanly teams up (from time to time) with the Foot to fight the Turtles. However these alliances wont last long cause it would be a matter of time before the betray each other.

I also thought that every encounter with the Turtles/Shredder (not being a regular character) would have an open finale. Instead of escaping or being send to prison he would end falling from a rooftop, or to water, or apparently perishing in an explosion, earthquacke, fire and of course They would never find his body (Similar to MacGyver´s enemy Murdoc)

This would probably be better suited as a fan fic in the fanworks discussion forum.

That said, you've got a pretty interesting background going for Pizzaface. The mobster angle is stereotypical, but it works.

This looks like the fanfic story about Ace Duck I found in 2004 (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1115105/1/Duck_and_Cover), where a toy character without episode is given a story. That's great. But I don't think this needs to be in the fanworks forum, since it's more like a proposed background instead of a fanfic.

yea the file card that came with pizzaface, and some others, dont really give much info on the character. it would have been awesome if all these random characters they made figures of had actually appeared in the cartoon.
