This season went by too quickly?

I just realized something...there's only 5 episodes of this season left!

Considering its only 13 eps long, why do you think 4kids aired almost all the episodes in a row without a long break or anything?

At this rate the entire season will be aired by December. It worries me because it seems like they're airing all the eps to "get it done" and just have that DTV special for next year.

I think the main idea is just to have it ready for release on DVD by May. Perhaps a stipulation of that was that the season be completely aired first.

The DTV that has yet to be confirmed if it has anything to do with the 2K3 continuity at all...

My guess is 4kids is trying to figure out how well continuous repeats fare. Which might determine whether or not they want to fund another season. That and they got 3 or so shows coming early next year so maybe TMNT will be pushed back to an earlier time slot to make room for the new shows.

So only 5 episodes to wrap things up... perhaps for good..? Sounds like a tall order.. but the script writers probably had things all planned out for a 13 episode story arc.

Well, a lot can happen in five episodes, and I mean A LOT.

But if any of them are wasted, then the ending could seem rushed, which would suck.

Frankly I'm hoping we get at least a three parter to end the season. (Come on, I've been waiting for 'The Shredder War', as I've called it, since the first episode this season.)

I too have been waiting for the real Ch'rell to come back. Plus, where the hell is Karai, and Bishop?

AAARRRGGGHHH!!! First people were complaining they were showing reruns 4 episodes into the season, now they're complaining that they're going through the episodes too fast.

MAKE UP YOUR MINDS, Man!!!!

That's why I figured we'd see a WHOLE lot of reruns to stretch 13 episodes out to air from Sept. To May.... Any time you have 13 episodes, you have to sit through repeats, and often enough threepeats to keep the show moving.

Airdates

Why don't they just show them all in a row and then begin with re-runs before the next season begins? Here in Sweden, most shows are in re-run during the local summertime (June-August) - when people are more outdoors.

Karai has moved on, having fallen in love with Chaplin and been spiritually healed. Bishop's life isnt anchored to the Turtles and is likely following the path destined to lead him to the Presidency.

This has been explained about fifteen times already on this forum, take a bloody hint

More like four... remember the preview for next weeks episode? Doubt that'll move the story too much.

Stalling for time is a valid plot point! [/sarcasm]

It will ONLY if they finish off Splinter or Shredder finds a way out of the Cyber Realm in it. But I doubt that's gonna happen. I was thinking, 13 episodes... a big plot line connecting all these little stories... and so far we've had mostly filler stories about Baby Turtles, dumpy Serlings, and eating up time with Extreme sports stuff though out episodes that could have been much better.

The season started out strong enough, and now it seems like it's falling into the same trap FF did, but only hinting at plot points here. It seems we'll have a big epic ending of some sort, but so far, last few episodes did nothing for me. The Foot Turtles came close though, but they didn't give that part enough time to flourish and become something. Ditto This week's episode. if they didn't spend half the episode advertising the minimutants with skateboards, we could have had some amazing Shredder stuff.

There have been only two stand-alone episodes, the Serling timetravel ep and next weeks videogame episode.

Just 'cause Shredder didn't break through to the real world didn't mean they ever planned that.

Most likely we won't see Shredder and Splinter re-formed until the finale.

For those who would like to know, Cyber Shredder is still stuck in cyberspace by ep 10 of 13, "Virtual Reality Check".

He wouldn't be doing that if he was already out, would he?

Well if he breaks free in episode 11, then we'll have 3 full eps with Shredder in the real world, hopefully.

I imagine that everything we saw in "Tempus Fugit" will happen in the last 3 eps?
