Mirage: OUR 25th Wish List..

'I know I'm asking for a world of hurt, but I thought I'd give us one last chance..'

Classic Bill Murray line that seems to apply here . But, just in case anyone from Mirage still reads, and cares, THIS is what I and your fellow fans would like to see for the 25th.

At the top of my wish list :

VIDEO GAMES - All Turtle games released on the Virtual Console. INCLUDING Gamecbue, Gameboy, and Un-Altered Arcade games with music and voices in tact.

SPECIAL EDITION versions of the movies on the Blu-Ray format, with Digital Copy enabled.

COMICS - If not an old toon comic, how about a few issues of 'TALES' taking place in other universes? Archie, Old Toon, hell, even the Next Mutation while we're talking crazy ..

COMIC CONS: Classic Turtle Talent at the NY Comic Con..

That's it for me....What would everyone else like to see?

All I want is for trade-paperbacks to come out (preferably in major bookstores where they'll get attention).

If not the entirety of the Archie and Mirage series, at the very least they need to release collections of City at War, Volume 2, and Volume 4.

It just kills me that there are these great and long running story arcs that people won't have access to.

Everything else is icing on the cake. These are musts. Maybe not this year, in fact all signs point to it not happening, but if Mirage shuts its doors without releasing these, then damn.

Is the videogame still coming? If not, all we have to look forward to is the 3-part cartoon movie.

Oh yeah. That too (though I'm not too happy about the chapters being split up again ).

I'd much rather have all of the TMNT games released on one disc across all three next-gen consoles, than just unloading them all on Virtual Console throughout the year.

Also, in the way of figures, maybe have had new sculpts based on the old series, and possibly some nifty "evoluton" box sets with a figure based on every major line they appeared in (for example, 1988 Leo, Movie Star Leo, Toon Leo, Movie III Leo, Next Mutation Leo, 2003 Leo, Fast Forward Leo, 2007 Leo, and maybe a real BttS Leo). Speaking of BttS, we really do need some real BttS figures, dammit! Not the crap we're already getting. I think it would also be fun to have a set of Mini-Mutants based on the old cartoon.

As a movie fan SE or DC versions of the movies (especially Barrnon's 1990 original.)

Oh..and Forever War, for the Archie fan in me. If only it was in color.

A less kiddie handling of the whole anniversary.

6 to 8" Sideshow quality statues of each turtle and Splinter in TMNT1 style w/ special edition (or director's cut) of TMNT1.

Apparently, Gary has resigned his position as CEO at Mirage.

That wasn't kind of you. I wasnt' expecting him to resign because I said so, just hoping he would be gone, because if the man is trying to help mirage than heclearly doesn't know what he's doing.

Seriously, me too!

Alas...

I'm on board for Gary being gone being my big wish for next year (or sooner...).

The unfortunate thing, though, is that whatever "wishlist" you want to create, it's pretty nearly too late for Mirage to make any effort to implement any of it (that isn't already in motion) in time for next year.

And keep in mind that at no point has this thing ever been about US. If it were, Mirage would have pegged us for input. But they haven't and when Murphy proposed the idea to Gary/Peter, they shot it down.

Really people, how much longer are you gonna stand for that big middle finger they've all been waving at us?

Oddly enough, me too. I'd LOVE to have a Tour-toiseshell CD (of the songs that aren't easily attainable elsewhere, and I'd buy TNM on DVD just so I can continue to say I own every Ninja Turtles DVD released in America.

You're not going to be satisfied until every Turtle-related post here is punctuated with "FU, Mirage!! ", huh?

Please don't put words in my mouth.

All I've done is state my opinions more bluntly and harsher than anyone else.

If everyone would like to continually peg me as the lone pessimistic fan, whatever. I just don't see what benefit there is to pretend everything's all rosey and hopeful or whatever.

Indeed. It was hyperbole exaggeration for comedic effect.

I'm not trying to start a fight, but what do you expect from everyone? As far as I can tell, everyone is getting ready to abandon ship. Are we supposed to quit using this forum to prove we don't think you're full of it though? Tell us so we won't think poorly of you. Besides, DrTooth was a pessimistic fan before there even was a TMNT. There's just no topping that.
