Was Pleased, But Now Sad...

I went to my local Wal-Mart today, and they had this huge arrival of all the TMNT figures ( I know it's kinda late ). They had all the old figures from the movie, and the new Mini ones. I was very happy to see all this.

But, remember how it was said that Wal-Mart won't sell any TMNT merchandise anymore, well this prooves it. Everything was under 5.00 $ on clearance. It was insane. I grabbed one of each, even if some I had already. It just made me sad, that from now on I will have to order everything off the net.

My two cents of the day.

So it all went on clearance straight away?

Still, the consumer is beneficial from having a large grab of TMNT related items before Christmas. If I was stateside I would have grabbed some more Mini Donatello VS Foot Tech Ninja sets. $5 is like £2.70 my money.

I know the movie related stuff is stale now but some stuff is certainly worth being a stocking filler or two.

My Wal-Mart hasn't had Turtles at all for like 4 months. What gets me is that they were still selling pretty well, none of them ever made it to clearance even, and I had a hell of a time getting a hold of Sloth monster, Shredder and Jungle Leo.

I'm a little divided on the subject as well, since while I was hoping to pick up some of the cooler mini-mutants and a few of the movie figs I didn't have (like Karai, Casey and Max Winters) at a discount, at least it's nice to see that there's a demand.

So while these things are flying (okay at least gliding) off the shelves in my neck of the woods, why the hell don't they see a need to get more?

What was Jungle Leo like? I did actually consider purchasing one a while back.

It wasn't there. It was only the first series, the Alien Hunter and all the Mini Mutants.

That's pretty weird... every time I go to the US, the Walmarts have always had TMNT figures. A few months back I was able to snag a couple of the mini-mutant 2-packs, and though I didn't buy them they still have Karai and April from the movie line and the Sub-Sewers line too.

In case people missed it before and don't realize why Wal-Mart doesn't have TMNT figures anymore or won't here:
