A call for Personal Stories

Hi there, I am working on a project right now and am looking for personal TMNT related stories. In particular if TMNT had a big impact on your life growing up I would love to hear about it. If you are interested in sharing I would love to hear from you by email or PM, this way we can discuss your stories further and details on this project: [email protected]

The more extreme stories such as the one which is told by one of the voice casts in an interview about children who were in hospitals during the christmas call ins and then years later approached them thanking them. THIS would be AMAZING... but your stories don't have to be that extreme in nature.

Thanks everyone, I hope to hear from you, I know how important they were to me, and they were probably more important to some of you.

How about the 3 teenagers in the current events section who tried to imitate the Turtles by going down the sewers?

If you can interview them... Theirs was REALLY EXTREME.

That's a joke...

Or is it?

hahaha... a bit of a joke. That would not be ideal for this project. This is supposed to cast peoples experiences in a good light!

I can't post all the details, as this project may or may not get off the ground so I don't want to hype something that might not happen, but let me put it this way. YOU WANT TO BE INVOLVED! if you have a good story... that is TRUE please don't lie.

So your trying to make a Ninja Turtles documentary, it's been attempted. Good luck,I have a mockumentary I just finished your more then welcome to take a look at that when I upload it. It's a vast exaggeration but it contains several shots of my collection and scenes from my childhood reenacted.

Spitfire, you are correct. This is why I don't want to hype this up to much as myself and different companies involved are in pitch and proposal stages right now. Which is why I am asking for stories so we have some references and something in hand when we go to the table.

So knowing that, if people are interested please send in a quick blurb. What I am looking for is how TMNT impacted your lives, did they change your life, how much did they mean to you now or growing up, do you know anyone who was affected by turtles in some way, or maybe you just love them a heck of a lot and have something to say about that!

This thing would be "for real" if it happens so it would be cool to have you guys involved in some way, you are the hard core fans!!

BUT!!!!! remember this is only in the beginning stages so funding and or clearances can fall through at any moment.

Thank you for your help! I hope to meat some of you in the process of this.

Isaac

Hm. I might try and add to this later, but the general basis I have going right now is: "I started training in martial arts because of TMNT and martial arts still continues to be a large part of my life today."

Sweet! That does seem to be a common story with many people and it is very important to note!!

Here is the thing, I will have a LIST of things I hope to be calling on people for. We are waiting for word middle of next week. There are a lot of rights and hoops we have to jump through. But things are moving, which is important.

I must admit that TMNT (the old toon for sure) may be a part of my love for voice acting...it certainly cultivated my love of Rob Paulsen and my purchasing of a Pat Fraley voice over teaching lesson for my pally a couple of Christmases back. We even had a limited e-mail correspondence there for a little bit.
