My latest TMNT original art pickup...from 1984!

OA · 12-12-2008, 10:30 AM

Hey guys,

I know most people here don't seem to collect TMNT original art, but I had to share my latest pickup. Its the earliest piece in my collection (from 1984). A copy of the art was also shown on Laird's blog pretty recently. Anyhow, check out the original below as I just posted it to my gallery and if you feel like it, click my name on the top of linked page to check out the rest of my collection.

Enjoy!

Congrats on the acquisition! Sadly, the company servers are blocking your website, so I cannot view.

I think collecting original art is a really awesome hobby, and would someday like to get into it.

Awesome piece! I seem to think I've seen it some place before..was it published somewhere?

Thanks man. Came in today, I was pretty excited. I'm not sure if it was published or not but I know Laird recently posted a copy on his blog recently (november i think) so maybe thats where you saw it. Either way, I'm pretty stoked about it.

LOL. Thanks man. I had been wanting a piece from '84 but really didn't think that very likely for a number of reasons. While I would have taken any old sketch, I was pretty stoked to get one with such detail. And obviously its one that Laird liked as well or he wouldnt have posted it either.

Man, your work's got retarded filters if it blocks a Ninja Turtle themed proxy. Sometimes I'm glad our work doesn't filter a thing. Then again, ther are times that I wish we did >.<
