coming out of our shells... again

http://www.geocities.com/shrugmonkey...uecolor-01.jpg
i just had this silly idea in class one day thinkin about my old coming out of our shells tape.. and i was in a venus mood .. so i came up with coming out of our shells... again (the hip-hop/trip-hop experience).. i figure venus gives the voice like beth of portishead and raph would make a great ballistical violent punchline battle rapper donny's love of gadgets fits in with the engineering and mixing and conducting the instramentals with drum machines mikey would probally be good spittin raps over bouncey hype club/street stuff and i mean .. leo's roll is obvious .. slicing and dicing but on the tables

interesting! any ideas what they would sing about? "lets sing about it...."
and does anyone else thing that "no treaties" would make a good theme for the US right now?? (sorry I'm a huge Bush supporter.)

I think we should write some of their new songs...that could be fun.

peace and fun

Bush has gotten a really bad rap. (Pun not intended) I feel sorry for the guy, because he's been put in a really hard situation with the whole world putting pressure on him. I really do hope we blow the hell out of Iraq, and dropping a few bombs on France would really raise American morale. So, yes, I do think Bush is doing a half decent job, but let's face it......he's making political satirists obselete with those sayings of his.

Ohh.. cute pic! Love thier expressions too... esp since they look better than the COOTS outfits.

Oh, actually I like a good number of the COOTS songs. No Treaties is my top fav, since it reminds me of Queen and/or AC DC. Another song I like is not even on the tape. It was the "Follow your Heart" one Mikey did.

But this is funny, I'm listening to this one R&B tune "Killing me softly with his song" (the new remix of it), and it just seems to fit perfectly with your pic, Andrew.

Yes, but does your CD also include the songs from Turtle Tunes and the Turtles Christmas video? Yes, I like most of those songs, so sue me.

Well, the songs from the Turtle Tunes video are here:
http://www.music.mikeystmnt.com/files/index.htm

I had my CD burned by a friend I unfortunately lost touch with. Geez, a lot of these songs are so corny, but they're really fun. I wish I could find the videos, but I haven't quite gotten past browsing on ebay.
