YES! They were awesome. I remember eating a bunch of boxes of those after I got stitches put in my chin after falling off my bike.

Ug, I thought those pizza cheetos were the nastiest thing I ever ate. The television commercial was cool though (and was produced by Will Venton Studios).

Those Ooze pudding pies though.. mmm.. all covered with green-colord sugar icing... mmmmm nummyness....

Oh yeah! I actually had a funny story to go along with those.

Back when they were out, my dad was going to get something from one of the vending machines at his workplace. He was thinking of something sensible, like a granola bar. But he apparently read the call number wrong! So what did the machine give him? A TMNT pudding pie! Dad isn't much of one to complain and make a fuss, since food is food, so he takes the pie to eat in the break room. But as he does, people walking by gave him the funniest looks. There he was, a conservative 50-year old engineer eating a green pudding pie!

That was the story he told me, went he gave me the little trading card that went with it.

Cool story, HT. Man I wish I had gotten to try one, but I think my cousins did at one time. I asked if they had any extra lying around and they told me they did but they couldn't let me have it. I think they were BSing me anyway.

I remember all that crap. My mom wanted to raise me as 'The-Fat-Kid'--Foiled her plan by getting sick by eating anything-- Those custard-mutegen-pies, those were nasty, The custard was ok, but the outside was crap. I used to buy the packs of cards with the gum, I also opened packs of those in the store and took the gum. I remember the gummy-snack-things, I bought those with the Looney Toon ones. And the cereal, I only bought one box and it was when I was sick with a bad flu and never got to eat any, my brother ate it all. That jerk.

I remember having all that stuff, but never actually eating it, or if I do, I don't remember keeping it down. Blah.

Those Mutagen pies were the slimiest pieces of food ever manufactured. If you got a little bit on you, 5 minutes later you would have the gunk all over you. They tasted good though.

TMNT food items that I remember:

Cereal
Pigs in a blanket
Gummi snacks made by Alma Leo
Fruit snacks by Farley's
Royal brand gelatin labeled "Ooze" (in honor of the second movie)

The real question to ask is this: who here remembers the TMNT kids shoes? I sure do The old shoebox for the pair I had is lying on my bedroom floor right now

I also used to have a dinner plate and mini TV tray too, with a color-changing cup...wow, the list goes on.

I had a pair of those shoes every year. One time I got the laces caught in an escalator and had to cut them off.

They made TMNT pigs in a blanket?

Laces? As far as I know, they only made velcro ones.

They sure did They weren't anything special though. Just corn doggish things (only it was sausage, not a hot dog) with one of the turtles names on each stick, colored after the bandana they wore on the cartoon.
