Peppercom send the turtles to children's hospitals and schools.

Since nobody seems to want to post the good things that Peppercom is doing with their million dollars, I will.

Today on TMNT25.com, it was announced that the turtles will be visiting hospitals to bring a smile to children with cancer. They will also be visiting various schools on their tour in collaboration with After-School All Stars, a group providing after school activities to children.

I don't know about you, but I'll trade a million ****** marketing e-mails to brighten the day of just ONE of those courageous kids.

That is truly great! I have seen a Children's Hospital cancer wing first hand and one of the best things for them is to be able to get their minds off their illnesses even if it's just for a moment.

That is wonderful! I remember back in the peak days of the OT (somewhere during the early 1990s) that a Ninja Turtle went to visit a terminally ill boy at the hospital thanks to Make a Wish (IIRC). He was elated. I think it was Michelangelo who went to see him.

Rock on, Turtle Tats! You're better at promoting Turtle Power than WB was with the latest movie.

It just frustrates me that people really focus in on the negative things related to the 25th, and then when something great happens, it is glossed over. So I wanted to point it out. It has nothing to do with a desire to promote Peppercom or the 25th...they are a promotion company, they don't need my help. It is about giving credit where credit is due, regardless of who you are.

It goes back to the brain melting situation of people bitching that nothing good happens, and when it does, they either bitch about it, or don't care.

A million dollars isn't much, a 30 second ad at the Super Bowl costs like 3 million.

In a thing like this, money spent is of little importance. The impact on those kids is going to be worth more than anything. This is such a Great thing they're doing. What better to brighten a kid's day than to see their favorite heroes visiting them at the hospital?

This is a very nice thing to do. I really hope this brightens up the kids in the ward.
