Dreggs Plan
I wonder...Trying to find a good screen grab for Krang, and somehow this little point connected in my brain. In 'A Turtle In Time', Dregg searches through Krangs memory and comes up with a plan to destroy cities by setting them on fire with a piece of the sun.
Could he have gotten it from the 'Ring of Fire' episode with Krang's quote 'Entire city's will burn like match sticks....'. It fits. But I somehow doubt Jeffery Scott saw those episodes before writing the season..

The original cartoon had a lot of re-used plots from time to time.
There are like three episodes where the Earth warms up or is headed to the sun, eps where gravity is messed up, eps where a character loses their memory, eps where characters grow tall or shrink, eps where characters change bodies... Although I doubt Jeffery Scott knew the entire shows history beyond whatever they showed him. |

O_O How did you do that, Neil? I just put in my Season 7 Part 2 DVD to pick up where I left off, but my DVD-rom auto-jumped to "RING OF FIRE" as soon as I put it in the machine despite the fact I hadn't watched the one before it yet.

Let's not forget the turtles were turned into kids twice.... And wasn't the 'fear gun' thing used twice as well?

While I knew there was another, I never in a million years would have guessed that one. I blame the fact that I want very bad things to happen to that horribly lame replacement for Usagi...

There was also a character named Mildred in that Hokum ep who seemingly replaced Irma for that one ep, (she was with Vernon and Burne, yet Irma is not in the ep), what the hell was that about?
Don't forget there are also several episodes where Shredder brings statues to life, like in "Peking Turtles" and that Season 5 or 6 episode with those old Samurai statues. |

Of course the plot of 'said object/new device/random gem or metal from other dimension that somehow ended up on Earth and such that will give the Technodrome enough energy to break free/come to earth/fully power-up was the focus of almost every episode.
