What were some odd/weird things you did with TMNT?

I'll start off.

When I was younger I was really into two things Wrestling and TMNT. I still am into both HAHA. Well I used to have a bunch of the figures and such. I also had a little wrestling ring. I used to get my tape recorder and tape myself being a anouncer and having the TMNT and other figures "wrestle" in the ring. Like for a example "Slash goes on the apron and clothlines don". Stuff like that. I would record full matches and even some promos with the turtles. I never listened to the matches again, I would jut tape over them usually with another match.

Anyone else?

I used to chew on their arms when I was 5 o_o.

And I would loose the toys a lot. I had to have gone through at least 7 sets of the 4 turtles.

I used to do the exact same thing with out a tape recorder!

I also had a bad habit of breaking my figures and playing with the pieces. Tailess Triceraton, legless Sewer Surfin' Mikey, armless Shredder, I could go on and on and on and.....

I'd take my figures and pretend that they were the real turtles and they'd just gotten shrunk down again ^^ So I'd try to be creative and make them a sewer lair with pieces from around my room and so on..

Me and my friends used to get on opposite sides of my room and throw the figures at each other. I can't tell you how much it hurts to get Monty Moose smashed into your face, or Krang slammed right into your eye!

I had 6 turtles and Splinter (got an extra Raph and Don, I recived those from some familly member who didn't know the difference between Shredder and the Turtles) so I used to pretend that my extra turtles figures were evil robots created by Krang and Shredder.

I still have the figures, though I don't have any weapons or belts left and Raph had to be glued back together...
My 3 years old sister play a lot with them, and I think that Raph is going to need a second operation in a few days.

Well, I put my Turtles on my classic size Breyer model horses, and pretend they were Ninja Cowboy, turtle equestrians extrodinaire! (you could only imagine my delight when I saw the trailers for TMNT3)

I also thought it was funny how the legs and arms came off on the Movie Star and TNM figures. So my friend and I started to swap the parts around. Like a TNM shell and head, with movie legs. Or just stick all arms on them...

HAHAHA, I love your story with the promos and all... I can imagine Raph doing in-ring promos like Stone Cold...

I'm 16 and I've seen my same-aged best friend (in the whole wide world) do the same thing. Except he uses the Ninja Turtles as security guards and stuff. He has like hundreds of wrestling figures. By the way... we have yet another TMNT/Wrestling fanatic... the population grows. Me and Azure were practically one of the first TMNT/Wrestling fans to enter this board (you have to be psycho crazy about both to be considered one - and you are )

Anyway... the strangest thing I could've done had to be a month (or three weeks) ago, where I did a school report explaining self-exploration through the Ninja Turtles. The story of it is in a thread called "A Little Turtle Story" (it's in TMNT General Discussion). I got an A+ for it actually... I had the most response ever to this certain project... so I felt proud of that. As strange as it was...... it got me an A..... +!!!

I used to pretend I was splinter, and I would put them through training, and for some reason Ralph always won.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!

Ok well its kind of obvious, im a Wrestling fan as well, but not since about 4 or 5 years ago so not when i was playing with my TMNT. Anywho, the strangest thing would be that well, your all gonna laugh, but the only way to get someone to play TMNT was to play barbies with my sister so we would play TMNT and barbies for hours on end. She had this carriage and it had a back on it and i would always hide groundchuck in it and he would jump out and shoot everything. Hey, i was a vicious little kid!

I did the same thing as you XWorstSNEverX. I've loved wresting since I was born, so I would use my Hasbro wrestling ring and have my turtle figures battle it out. I also did this with X-Men/Marvel action figures, which I'm not into anymore. I don't play anymore, but I recently started collecting custom wrestling figures. BTW...anyone here know a great site with wrestiling boards just like this one? I'm also lookiing for a custom wrestling figure site as well.

Omigosh!! I used to do the same thing with my action figures! Minus the taped promos, though. I always had the turtles team up against my old WWF action figures (Demolition, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, and a few others). I loved having them duke it out in an old school Survivor Series elimination match. That, and I liked throwing everyone into the ring for a good ol' fashioned battle royal. It was fun.

Oh yeah baby, nothing like having a good ol' fashioned Survivor Series match with Hulk Hogan, Leo, Raph, Mike and Don against Andre the Giant, Macho Man, Akeem, Big Boss Man and Million Dollar Man!

Every once in a while I'd actually let Hogan job the Title to Leo

...but Hogan would always get it back because the belt just plain didnt fit the Turtles figures.

Hmmm...Well, I honestly didn't have any figures when I was a kid. Now that I do have them, I pose them, take photos of them, customize them, and put them into naughty positions. No, I haven't photographed them in any naughty postions. Yet.
