Why do so many people missed the Technodrome?

I looked at the February Poll and it said that 56% people missed the Technodrome. So I like to at least know some good points why that one should be remenbered?

I got into the habbit back in 1992 or 93' when I was little. I would like to thank my 2 year older cousin for getting me in the habbit. 2001 was when I revised my knowledge on TMNT. And today I'm a bigger fan than I was years ago. I have all 3 TMNT Movies, current Toon, and old school Toon on DVD.

I loved the technodrome. It was such a cool battle machine and has so many cool rooms and features. It was also the central focus of the old tmnt plot. Shredder and company had 1 of 2 major goals in the episode: #1 revenge/defeating the turtles or #2 freeing the technodrome so they could conquer the earth. All the episodes it became free and wrecked havoc were classic and were never forgotten by tmnt fans. It just seems kind of pointless without it IMO. Still, the plots of the new series have been pretty good even without it. Although I thought Nano was pretty bad.

I kinda liked the whole Nano thing. Odd,yet still interesting and entertaining{'Daaddy!" }As far as the poll goes,I voted for Channel 6,because I always liked the interaction between April and her co-workers{especially her boss,Burne, and Vernon}. I see people's point though, voting for the Technodrome. It was cool because,it was ahome base, and a weapon. The uniqueness of the numerous times it changed locations{Dimension X,underwater,on ice, etc.} also made it fun. That's my opinion, anyone care to talk about it? Let me know!

Why should they? The new cartoon is not a replacement for the old one, it's an alternate universe. People should be free to choose which cartoon they like better, not forced to like the new one just because it's the one that's currently airing.

True, but the poll was about missing it in the new cartoon.

That poll wasn't intended to mean that any of those locations should be in the new cartoon, it was just comparing the locations of the old cartoon to those of the new cartoon.

The "in the new cartoon" part confused me then. Well I agree, it was nice thing in the old show, and Like DK said, it was prety much the center of it.

That's exactly how I see it, Krang. Each version of the turtles is in an alternate dimension seperate from each other. Although each world is unique, certain obvious similarities are present.

The technodrome was perhapes one of the best things about the old toon!!!!
It deffinitely goes down as one of the best bad guy hideouts of all times. I was so outragously big and powerful and it looke really cool!! And then it got thrown around all over the place and it was always one of the best levels in the video games... how can you NOT love the t-drome?

I may not of seen too many of the original episodes. If only I'm able to see them. Any way I know the Technodrome is too Future like of course I like Shredder's Skyskaper a tiny bet better.

Just how would Shredder get his own Sky Scrapper anyway... I mean it says he's a successful business man but doing what? And I don't think it would take the police too long to figure out that he's a criminal and would shut him down.

Olive oil, he sells olive oil

Well in the comics it seems like he runs a protection service and also does assasinations, drug running maybe, those kinds of things
I figure he basically bought th police too

I think the Technodrome was so cool! I loved the music that would play whenever they would go to it. But in the poll I voted Dimension X. I love the Rock Soldiers and the Neutrinoes. But the Technodrome gets my second vote. Definately a cool battle station/base.

Well it was one of the not so goofy things that stood out...the name technodrome sounds cool in an 80's futurist sort of way. However I really dig the idea of a penthouse lair...it worked in the movie Blade, and I feel it works well here too in the new toon.

Hey now, just look at me: I love this new cartoon, yet I loved the Technodrome in the old cartoon. It was almost sorta like the Death Star of the TMNT world...
