Season 8 color corrected

One thing I hate about season 8 is the colors are just jacked! I remember thinking the new designs were cool back in the day, but why is everything so saturated? The turtles’ skin is WAY too intense a green, there is WAY too much purple in most backgrounds, and in general the colors are just off. So to make it look and feel more like the original series I’ve done an experiment with Sony Vegas to edit the colors to make them more natural and closer to what they were. I loved the pallet they used in the first season, so check these out and tell me what you think.

For me, it’s a definite improvement.

The color key is in the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/43402383@N04/

Here's another example of the overdone colors (particularly purple):

The Turtles' belts are still much lighter than they ever were in the pre-Red Sky seasons. I'm sure you could fix it if you went and did color replacement by hand.
