The Sale: Alternative Options

Seeing as how (at least according to Laird) Mirage wasn't actively looking to sell TMNT, but just accepted the offer from Viacom/Nickelodeon, I wonder if it would have been better if Mirage/Laird had shopped TMNT around a bit, Disney or Time Warner may have been a better fit for TMNT, given those two companies strong connections to Marvel and DC respectively.
