[Fan Art] TMNT Redesign Challenge #1 - Splinter

Inspired in other forums that I´m part in, I searched for it in The Technodrome and found noting like it. So I´m willing to start one Redesign Challenge.

We can start with Master Splinter:

Master Splinter, or simply Splinter is a fictional character in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe. Splinter is a giant anthropomorphic rat who is the master and adopted father of the Ninja Turtles.

Splinter has two origin stories, and which one is used depends on the medium. In the original version of the tale, he was Hamato Yoshi's pet, and in the other, he is Hamato Yoshi.

Rules:

All people who choose to participate will have two weeks to come up with a redesign for the given character. You can use any medium you wish. You can sketch, paint make a 3-D model, make a sprite, make a custom action figure, whatever you want. Its entirely up to you!

As well, you don't have to force yourself to make your design conform to any new or old cartoon or comic book's style. Be as drastic in your redesign as you see fit. Whatever makes you happy.

If you can't think of a new design, or just hate the idea of working on this character, you do not have to feel obligated to participate in this particular challenge. You will still be free to participate in any future challenges you wish.

End Date: 20th January 2010.

No price, just a fan challenge to share ideas, after day 20 I will start a poll with all the art submitted and we can vote on our favorite, just for the fun

Here's mine. I decided to make him look more like a real rat in japanese clothing with scabbards rather then a mutant. Hey, it's only for fun right?

Foot Soldier is winning until now... I would like to try April... I like to draw girls

I would much rather draw a foot soldier then april. I'm not a big fan of drawing chicks, or humans in general. It kinda bores me. My vote had gone to bebop. He's a favorite of mine.
