annoying/funny errors
I was thinking first just have the thread about artwork, but I figured make it a general question
what errors makes your head turn? personally I can't stand when the belts are not completed. When they stops right before the shell or are drawn to go under the shell. funny errors have to be changing masks, voice actor weapons in the early OT and mikey's return of the stocking bandage in a stock footage |

My brother and I always loved in "The Case of the Killer Pizzas" when Raph has a purple bandana. And when Raph has Rocksteady's voice in that ep. and Leonardo has Raph's voice several times. Isn't "The Case of the Killer Pizzas" one of the most error heavy episodes in the show?

Donatello's wrist bands have a tendency to vanish throughout certain episodes of Season 2. It's really baffling.
I generally count Season 2 as one giant animation error. Everything looked like sh*t. Last edited by Cipher; 02-22-2010 at 10:42 AM. |

I think "Enter the Fly" looked great animation-wise. It is probably the high point of Season 2. Also, "The Catwoman from Channel Six" has its nice animation moments such as the fights and action sequences, although it is marred by some frequent animation errors (Bebop's two mouths, Cat April's inconsistent snout and tail disappearing, and a big error at the climax with Leonardo and Donatello inexplicably switching places).

It was in "Turtle Tracks" when Donatello goes to stop April from leaving and he talks in Raphael's voice. There was another one where Michaelangelo is driving the Turtle Van in "A Little Thing About Rats" and it's in Donatello's voice when he's driving.

I mentioned this before, but there's a few instances on the original cartoon where when Raph is supposed to be grunting/moaning (because he got hit or he's fighting) and it's April's voice in the first season. Sounds very funny, and I have to think it was an intentional joke. I wish I knew exactly where the funny one i'm thinking of is. I might have to put in my season one dvd and find it. It's always Raph though, it's never another turtle. It might not even be April's dub, it sounds like a little girl. I'm pretty sure there is one in the episode where the turtles are going down to the docks to take back something Shredder stole? And there's a crane? I can't remember.

Ah, yes, it's hilarious! Disturbing in a way though...

I find it hilarious in Enter the Fly when Shredder's pants just dissapear.

Leonardo's strap for his katana across his chest has a habit of disappearing randomly in episodes throughout the 4Kids' series. It disappeared the most in the first episode.

Here's one I noticed:
In State of Shock, when the turtles tried to tell Megavault they're the city's most notorious criminals. Leonardo says "And we'll prove it, by defeating a team of your best ninjas" but with Raphael's red ninja mask, and Raphael's sais, and Raphael's "R" belt initial. That one kinda annoyed me a little. |
