YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!! I sh*t myself when I heard about this on IGN yesterday. And supposedly Allison Mack isn't signed on yet. Could this mean the death of Chloe Sullivan.

And is this thread really necessary. You could of just said this on the other one instead of having two Smallville threads.

The other thread is specific to Season 9 though. Stop tellin' people to do things wrong, ya troublemaker.

Yay, season 10!

Tho, I have to be honest... I wouldn't miss Chloe if she disappeared at this stage. I just don't feel like she's doing much other than being Clark's secretary now-a-days anyway.

Smallville wouldn't be the same without Chloe. She's the only original cast member left aside from Clark.

Besides... Tess and Lois dont "do it for me" like Chloe does. And by "do it for me", I mean arouse. In my pants.

I'm all for a second Smallville thread to discuss Season 10 and our expectations of it with current events in the Season 9 thread.

I never thought I'd see the show make such a great milestone. What needs to be done is to bring Rosenbaum back

So what would you guys want in season 10?

Assuming it's the last, I hope the writers see this as a chance for doing away with filler episodes, freak of the weeks, and guest DC character appearances and just drive forward with their own mythology.

I have a feeling he'll fly in the last episode, but really, after 10 years, thats not good enough. They may have gotten away with that ending in season 5, but at this point we better see him in full costume. I'd prefer if he learns to fly in the season premiere and he learns how to harness it throughout the season.

Also, Lex needs to come back, if only for the last few episodes. There's so much more closure that needs to happen here. I dont want the show to end with Oliver telling Clark Zatanna resurrected Lex since she owed him one. Let's see Lex back in full villainy, confronting what he learned about Clark head on. It's what the fans were waiting to see since the conception of the series. Saying "I KNEW IT!" and getting buried in ice isnt what I'd call an epic confrontation.

Lana also needs to come back for an episode or two. The way she left demoted Lois as being second choice, and there needs to be that moment where he chooses Lois over her. And they also need to clear up that stupid "suit" shes "wearing" with Clark's powers. It's such a stupid storyline that desperately needs closure.

So while I know this season seems to be setting up a Checkmate/Suicide Squad/Darkseid story for next year, I really wish they'd abandon it and focus on Jor-El training Clark. Green Arrow needs to leave too. I love Ollie and would hate to see him go, but theres no reason for him to kick around Smallville/Metropolis anymore. Same with Tess. Has anyone ever cared about what her agenda is? No, because theres rarely a consequence. She's only there as a Lex stand in and little else. Either have her go hunt down Lex or just kill her off already. She brings nothing to the table.

Of course, I'll most likely get none of that. Instead we'll get a human Darkseid, lame cliched freak of the weeks, and endless appearances from DC's back catalogue. And probably no explanation why he's still not wearing glasses.

Didn't they intro the glasses? Why the hell isn't he consistently wearing them? Yea, I wanna see him wearing the glasses here in. He ain't "Clark" unless he's wearing them and if anyone sees him, it's easy to figure out who he is.

Honestly, I'm good with Lana staying out of the picture, I found her annoying a while back. I do like DC special appearances, but I would like to see Clark and Lex in an epic battle.

Clark admited in a recent ep to Lois that he's near sighted and put on the glasses. He told her that he was embarrased to wear them and Lois suggested he use contact lenses instead.

While Justin does believe he's being respectful of the Smallville mythos by not taking up the offer to do a Green Arrow spin-off series, he's just given the writers license to lean on him like a Krutch. After all, he is the most charismatic supporting character that's ever shown up.

Yeah, I'm still bummed out the Aquaman show didn't get picked up. He was awesome, and the pilot showed more potential than the Smallville pilot did.

Just in case you thought I was talking about Aquaman (which was piloted before Justin's or Aquaman's appearances on Smallville), I was referring to a text interview with Justin (about the GreenTower affair; and, yes, I'm quite ashamed of that pun ) where he revealed that the crew had mentioned the possibility of spinning-off a Green Arrow series. Justin gave a firm "no" out of respect to the current continuity because he thought it would take too much spotlight from Clark and his trials. Instead, the producers are like, "Let's write him into every episode. This kid is GOLDEN!" Not arguing with his decision, but it's funny how Green Arrow's gonna be sappin' Supes' mojo one way or another. ^_^

Personally, I'd love to see the spinoff still happen if they polish off Smallville first. Spin-offs typically fare a better chance of survival when they don't need to keep up with each other's continuities. Plus, we'd get possible progress reports on El Blur... Er, I mean "Blur-El". Silly me...

Well. Looks like Allison Mack isn't gonna be a series regular in season 10.
