Canada and TMNT toys

ok i think we need a thread for Canadian collectors. These ninja turtles figs are coming soon enough to the big box store. Crappy stores like TOYS TOYS TOYS are ripping us off and charging $17 for one figure!!!

so where have people in Canada found the figs so far and what do u have?

I've seen the figs at ...

Silver Snail - They sold out in a week...they were $14-15 i believe.
TOYS TOYS TOYS in the eaton's Centre - All they have left are like 5 mikeys, 1 Raph, 1 shredder and 3 foot Soldier. $17

So far i have...
Don
Splinter
Foot Soldier

i couldnt bring myself to buying any from Toys Toys Toys

Yeah I bought 3 at SilverSnail. I called every single comic store in the GTA and out of all of them, the only ones who had them was Silver Snail and some other store in like Newmarket or something. SilverSnail sells out right away but they told me to come back every other thursday when they get new shipments, I just havent been in the area lately.

i did not know about Toys Toys Toys. Where is that? DO you think they still have them?
I am willing ot pay $17 for raph!!!!!!

Guys I bet you could find users on this forum that are willing to send you the new figs for much better prices than $17 a pop...

And I believe I saw a lot on eBay going for about $70 BIN.

Sorry for the repost...I wasn't clear in the one before...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=16474

It's a 7-piece lot of the new first wave of figures...$70 at Buy It Now which isn't that bad compared to $17 at Toys Toys Toys or whatever.

Hope that helped.

I was able to get the four turtles from ebay for $30! And the best thing was that it was from a Canadian seller!

But I need Splinter, Shredd and I'd like at least 5 Foot Soldiers (one for each of the turtles and one for Casey).

I live in calgary and I can't get them anywhere.

It's the currency exchange, $40 Canadian is equal to $26.66 American ^^

It's more like a 1 dollar US = $1.50 Canadian deal when you think of it. But when you start comparing 40 bucks to $26, then it becomes too big a difference.
