At any rate, I agree with Nines - having an old-time fan on board with the production in any way is a good thing. It's at least cool that it's a dream come true for the man.

Am I the only one who saw this coming 5 million miles away?
Its good news to me though, provided he has any creative influence on the character designs.
I am a fan of his work.

Who is this guy? Anyway, I'm not too big on the way he exaggerates his drawings. I hope the new show isn't like that.

Can't say I like his designs too much but I also don't hate them, i kinda did at first but they already grew on me a bit. Its obvious those are NOT the designs for the new cartoon but if you look through his blog THAT is pretty much his style is so expect the new cartoon to look similar like those examples above. Those designs do look like they'd work for CG.

You can tell he is a big fan of the turtles from his past posts from previous years, went all the way to the first blog post...And wow this news is from July 31st how is it that took so long to get out? Internet detectives are disappointing us

I like most of the drawings except for April. She just seems IDK, she just looks weird... I do love the Raph drawing though really top notch

Oh thank goodness, I'm not the only one. I just don't really like his style, which is the thing I love and adore from cartoons, the art. I could actually sit through a cartoon with bad writing if the designs for the characters are good.
