Yeah, do a search on Google, you'll find it, it seems to be mostly replacing Letters with Certain Numbers

Yes there is an alphabet.

l337 dud3 5p34ch was derived from computer admins who wanted a way to remember passwords by replacing letters in words with numbers.

It's simple really

A = 4
E = 3
T = 7
I = 1
S = 5
g = 9
etc etc.

Replace ! with 1's also. There are variations but that's the simplistics of it. Then you just have to learn how to talk like a geek.

I'm a leet dude!

1'm 4 l337 dud3!11111

you suck

j00 5uxxor!1111!11

etc etc. It's extremely popular in Everquest.

I...cant...believe...this...thread...is...here
Just yesterday we were using TEH L33T SPE4K1NG in irc just to annoy people, yknow, for the heck of it talk about a coincidence.
Th1s thread pwnz joo OLO!1!
This language was made so when hackers went on search engines they could find eachother's hacks without being discovered, but with megatokyo, jeffK and online gaming it got more popular.

Aw gee, you really think you can speak Korean horse? it isn't like learning spanish and isnt as universal so it is much harder to learn, it is true that no one can speak a language that isn't their original fluently.

Not true. I've met a few people in the military who can fluently speak 3 or even 4 languages.

I've also met people in the civilian life who were extremely fluent with just 2.

True... my husband speaks three languages fairly well: Korean, English, and ebonics. His sister speaks Korean, English, and Japnese.

Me.. I rather stick with HTML, CSS, Lingo, and Javascript.
