Which was more popular? Archie or Mirage
The owner of my local comic shop tells me that back in the day the Archie TMNT comics sold more than Mirage. What would you say?

I'm sure that's right. I've heard at certain points in time the Archie TMNT series was selling in the hundred thousand+ mark. Maybe two hundred thousand+.

I would agree that the Archie series was a much more higher volume seller because of the TV cartoon, and it also sold through more retail outlets like news stands/convenience stores.

the Archie TMNT series was sold at newsagents and mini marts Mirage was only ever at comic shops. so yea Archie was probably on top.
