AVGN+TMNT+Xmas= This review

http://www.cinemassacre.com/2010/12/...tle-christmas/

Yep, you guessed it.
I haven't even watched it yet but I would imagine I should say something along the lines of "warning, some language may not be appropriate for younger audiences" based on his other reviews. I'm a big fan of both AVGN & this special so who knows what side I'll be on...

Enjoy & discuss.

Haha, jeez. You folks are harsh. I always loved it for its silliness... Oh well. I guess now would be a bad time to mention I watch it yearly.

Im hoping the Nostalgia Critic tears this to pieces one day. He's a pretty big TMNT fan and he's got a TMNT review coming up at the end of the month so Im totally hoping it's Turtle's Christmas.

I agree tho. This is FAR worse than the Star Wars special. I always recomend We Wish You A Turtle Christmas to people so they can send it to people they hate. The full thing is up on YouTube now.

One of my fave parts tho is when Mikey is singing opera and the sidewalk Santa in the background is all confused with a "WTH is going on?!" look on his face.

Love the description of Splinter in that review. I just refer to him as talking poop or something a cat barfed up....

I like it for it's silliess as well. I mean if you don't take it serious then it's pretty fun/enjoyable. Just like the cummin' out of their shells tour...

Funny ass review though.

They've always looked like the Turtles on the cereal box to me.

There heads for some reason remind me of a bare skull I knoe that sounds funny but it does, it looks like they have no lips at all just teeth! And it also looks like the people in the costume are walking around with boners cause the way he pointed out the crotch area. I am sorry that's just a horrid video!

Dude! Did they put splinter into a blinder, washing machine or something? He has Sonic spikes going on and not in a good way.

Like...what?

From the review it doesn't look that bad, I mean it is what it is. Christmas Specials are usually pretty cheesy already, thats part of the charm of them in my opinion. Its definitely a sillier interpretation but it was also aimed at a younger audience who'd buy the VHS not older fans [by older I mean 8-12] and the suits get the job done, this obviously wasn't high budget release.

Even if I haven't seen it if that video truly shows the worst parts I didn't feel them to be that bad considering the points posted above, I think I'll likely watch it this year though. I think this is likely going to be easier to watch through than Coming out of the Shells, we'll see.

Spoiler:
I also don't see why this couldn't be Movie Canon. Oh and as silly as the turtles act the Turtles Forever version of the OT still acted sillier. P
