Bachelor about TMNT!

Hi, am new here and don't know how this works...
I want to ask Peter Laird some questions about the original comics, for my bachelor this year!
Can I post my questions and get an answer from him here? Or how do I get in touch with him?

This is a place for fans to communicate with eachother. Nothing official, per se.

Here, is where you may find Peter Laird- http://peterlairdstmntblog.blogspot.com/

You're more than welcome to ask us any questions about the comics though, as many here are very well informed in the history.

Thanks! I'll think I do both! =D
I wish to write about the attention comic books receive as contemporary art today, and how the recognition has increased from its birth, towards today. In my point of view, comic book writing is still an underground art expression and is not seen as an important part of art history education. So how to set focus on graphic novels as an academic art form? To prove my point, I need some background information from someone who knows this field and has experienced the changing of the comic book world as time has passed. As you will noticed I focus upon the TMNT comics and more upon the illustration design. The text in the parentheses will hopefully make it easier to understand the questions. I would be delighted if you would take time to answer the questions below =D

1 What was the inspiration behind TMNT? (Why turtles, why teenagers and their design?)

2 Did you have any sex or age in mind as audience for TMNT?

3 Was/Is TMNT comics respected as an academic art form, before/today, in your point of view? (How did/do you experience(d) this? Could for instance a sculpture or a picture of the turtles be exhibited at MOMA today? What about in the 80s? Why?

4 What do you think about bringing more focus on comics into the ground school? (Introducing graphic novels as part of an important cultural artistic arena to student education. What do you think would be important to emphasize about the art of comics to catch the student’s interests? What caught your interest?)

5 When thinking about the turtles design, does it take more than creativity to create something like TMNT? (Knowledge, experience, researching. Importance of reflecting upon theory and the learning outcome, if used in school education)

6 Do you think the new turtles-film (2012) will change the ulterior motive you had for TMNT? (Cause of the realistic design, darker story, changes of the turtles personalities. What impression will the audience get of TMNT from this film? Something better/worse? Will they be the same turtles? )

7 What has film done to the comic book world today? Do you think film has changed the fantasy expression to somewhat realistic storytelling, something more alike ourselves, like a reflection of ourselves? Is this positive or negative? How? Is it a new direction for comics or a wrong path?

8 What kind of emotional outcome has comics given you? Joy in life, personal development

9 What would a world without comic books be like?
