Could Krang and Dregg be the same race?

I know it's a stretch, but I was wondering as I watched season 9: Could Krang, evil warlord of Dimension X, and Dregg, supreme warlord of the Seven Galaxies, be members of the same race? I mean, we know Krang lost his true body, and it's possible that this:

is what he looked like...but then there's also this image, showing multiple "Krangs":

So nothings set in stone. I mean Dregg has a HUGE, brainy head. Could he be what Krang was?

Well in Season 10 when Krang and Dregg see each other, neither of them make any mention of being related in terms of species.

That point dawned on me, actually. Maybe Dregg didn't hear about Krang's "out of body experience."

Not really more proof, but just "Hey, we won't have to redesign weapons!" Dregg's goons can be seen using the blasters used by Bebop and Rocksteady, both the rifle seen in the opening credits and the smaller one...you know like those packaged with Tragg.

I doubt it. Dregg didn't even know who Krang was until they first met in The Power of Three. And Shredder and Krang didn't know him either.

The Krangezoids don't have those red eyes that can shoot lasers like Dregg does. And Dregg doesn't have a tail like the Krangezoids do.

I'm not gonna rule out the possibility, but I don't think that it was very likely.

Maybe it's like crocodiles and alligators. Both are lizards, just different species. Similar yet different.

Wasn't the Technogang the same race as Dregg? I mean they all seemed sort of like a bug/insect type alien species.
