Out of all the TMNT figs that you owned/own what was your favourite?
*looks to shelf* Ah..my favourites were the TMNT Mutations. I have all of the TMNT from that series; Leo, Raph, Mikey & Don.

*gets Raph off shelf and mutates him* Damn, they're just too cool!

What was your favourite series of TMNT figs?

DAMN? my FAVE? That's tough.. I'd have to say the Universal Studios Monsters hold a special place in my heart because they glow in the dark! (and the ones that don't {invisble mike, bride of frankie april, etc..} are just cool anyway) But the NT:TNM figs and movie tmnt (w/ REAL FEEL TURTLE SKIN!) are too awesome too

Oh yeah! Movie Star Turtles were my first favorites! I bought those when they first came out.

Then last year I was at Lisardo's house, when I noticed she had these Leo and Raph figures that looked like the Mirage turtles, and could backflip. He Leo always landed on his feet, while the Raph didn't. Anyways, I immediately fell in love with those "Ninja Action" figures too.

And then the unusual Donatello figure I got as a prize was a Spring Action one. They are hard plastic, and looks like they have been pumped up on steriods. All the joints are connected with springs so you can make it look like they are kicking and punching.

Those Coil action (the springy springy steriods turtlez) are SCARY! I *finally* have a Leo (decided to break down and FINALLY spend the $3.50 for him after seeing him for months at the flea market) and I'm afraid I'll break him.. Coil Force was one of the few figures I remeber being in toy stores (what can I say, I'm a late bloomer when it comes to my TMNT obsession, I never wanted them 'til the end) but I decided to buy the dino TMNT instead of the coil force.. and I like the Dino-TMNT better

As for the Ninja Action ones... (the miragish ones that can flip) I loved them, but I've always had a hankering to take one of them apart and try to make it work better (put a new suction cup of something in there) I guess that's just my Donnie side..

I love the THUNDER THRASHER NT:TNM Turtles FINALLY, Turtles with decent looking clothes without the grossout factor of the origanal series or the skin tight of the orig series. I esp liked Venus with Raver pants hee hee

Hah.. trust me, I haven't broke Spring Donnie yet! He's been made fun of by my husband (wondering where his dick was), played by Lisa, had his joins pulled on to the max by me, fell off my work PC a few times (gnad office janitors), and even went back to the Detroit Con in 2001. Tokka donated him as a prize for the 2000 Turtle Con, so of course my Spring Donny is special. I'll take him over a plushie anyday!

Ohh.. and Spring Donny does have screws too...

My bro and I used to unscrew our Transformers and totoally take them them apart to see who could put there's all the way back together again. I guess just transforming them wasn't exciting anymore.

Well, I'm trusting you then HosieTortle. And I'm coming after you with my shovel if you lied and Leo breaks! BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

All this action figure talk is getting me thinking about changing up my figs ont he desk (which means putting away the ones I have up, and getting out new ones to display for a while) Maybe I'll put some Xmen Evo ones up there... hmmm...

~Mica (*still giggling over posing Nightcrawler and Toad to be saying "wasssuuuuuuuuuuuup" to each other* But they really do look that way! Honest!)

*hehe* Yeah... I had Movie Donnie on my work PC for the first year I was here... but that skin fo his relaly liked to attract the dust. Turtle hair... that's a wicked invention, Don!!

So then I put Springy Donny ontop of my monitor last summer, leaning on a little Xerox machine stress-squeezer toy. When I get my Ninja Action Raph... I'l have him and Donny face off.
