[Fan Art] Toby's drawings

Toby Barrett · 01-26-2012, 02:55 PM

Here's something I doodled earlier this morning. Sadly, I don't have a scanner at the moment, though I'm planning on getting a new one soon. So hopefully a photo from my cell with be alright for right now.

Oh wow that is so cool and cute love it and also being my fave Turtle.

Not bad, really. Good perspective.

Nice look! ....I like that facial expression!

... I was wondering how you will draw to his bro Michelangelo....

and Leo and Raph too....

*oldmanwinters* · 01-27-2012, 10:21 AM

I do like the anatomy proportions, clean lines, and expressive face!

*Donnie* · 01-27-2012, 11:32 AM

Ray Dillon · 01-27-2012, 04:06 PM

Hey, Toby! Really great proportions, style, and expression to the face. This is a fun piece! Hope you keep adding to this thread! I'd love to see more!

Toby Barrett · 01-27-2012, 06:00 PM

Thank you so much everyone. =)
I probobly won't be posting anything too big until I get that scanner, but I'll certainly post more character sketches when I have the free time to sketch.
I know my cartoonier style isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it's something I've always been more comfortable with, but hopefully I can get a good chuckle from you all the same.

Toby Barrett · 01-29-2012, 08:08 PM

I thought tonight, I'd pencil something different.
So here's my first ever attempt at drawing Alopex! I think she's a pretty awesome character, and hope to see her make more appearances in the IDW comic!

*oldmanwinters* · 01-29-2012, 08:14 PM

Nice job, Toby! That's the best Alopex fan art I've seen yet!

However... you really need to get yourself a scanner to show off the full awesomeness of your work!

*Donnie* · 01-29-2012, 08:45 PM

I love your cartoony style man! Great Alopex.

*Plasticplayhouse* · 01-30-2012, 06:50 AM

really nice sketches. love the donnie! if you've got the time, you should sketch a group shot.

*Voltron* · 01-30-2012, 10:33 PM

Well, I'm impressed. I hope to see more!

*Redeemer* · 01-30-2012, 10:35 PM

Alopex looks pretty awesome to say the least

Sliced · 01-31-2012, 09:05 PM

Very nice cartoony style! I like it.

I love how expressive your Donnie is. I also vote for a group sketch.

Maybe a bit more lighting could help while you get yourself a scanner.

Nice work! Keep'em coming!

Are the images a little clearer like this ?

Toby Barrett · 01-31-2012, 09:33 PM

Thank you very much everybody! =) I'm glad my stuff is getting some enjoyment!

Group shot eh?

Not done yet, but started this tonight. Don't know how I actually feel about this one, I think Mikey looks pretty weak. I may start on a new one tomorrow instead.

*Redeemer* · 01-31-2012, 09:45 PM

Pretty cool to say the least It would be awesome if u got a groups shot!!!

Sliced · 01-31-2012, 09:45 PM

Faster than a ninja ! I'm only trying some quick photoshop magic here. I'll stop if you don't think its worth it...
