Shell Shock- Guiness world record broken

We broke it guys. 836 showed up this morning and broke the 786 record of most "ninjas in one place" (thats what they kept calling it, not sure if thats technically accuate).
Dont know how many people from this forum were up here (minneapolis). Unfortunately there were a lot of people that made the thing an embarrassment but there were some good people too. People from all ages. Lots of people who didnt even know which turtle wore what color, and lots of people that didnt even flinch when nick universe came out with red, purple, blue and yellow bandanas They made the whole event a bit corny with all the stuff they said and did and dancing to 15 year old girly music. Nick reps said the show is "there new version on the franchise" and that it isnt coming out til "fall". Grrrrrrrr, so much for the march stuff i been reading.
I'll try to post some pics later.

If it was the "most ninjas in one place" how would you know?

*rim-shot*

Because ninjas are masters of the art of invisibility...and all...

I'll be going now.

I was there, although I came away with a more positive experience that lilraph seemed to have.

The yellow bandanas were leftover from Comic-Con - they started giving those away after they ran out of the new orange bandanas they had for today. At Comic-Con they told us they couldn't make them orange because that's the color of the Nickelodeon logo, but they must have gotten over that detail. I would have picked up orange today anyways, but it was the color to get today if you had the set from San Diego with yellow.

And I am findable in the picture. ^_^

I will be posting pictures and video in a couple days on Ninja Pizza (a couple pictures are on Facebook and Twitter - I'm gonna try to edit the video I have together). I have to spend tomorrow with relatives before flying back to CA. :p

Louisville's WLKY late evening news ran the story on the Guiness World Record at the Mall. Pretty hilarious stuff; I don't think the anchorman knew what to think.

Sorry, excuse my ignorance here, but what's the story with the yellow bananas? Nickelodeon didn't want to use orange for Mike's bandana because it's the colour of their logo?? I assume they changed their minds? Either way, very stupid.

Yellow bananas are tasty.

Green ones need to sit around awhile before they're ripe enough to peel properly.
