The Magic of Palladium Books

I just got a copy of this from eBay. It's collected reprints of the old issues of The Magic of Palladium books which was a small magazine with articles about the various Palladium RPG system including TMNT (much like The Rifter magazine which came out later on).

Anyway, in my copy, page 3 looks to have been signed by Kevin and Mary Siembieda just above the intro text but I'm not 100% sure if these signatures are printed of real. Does anyone else have this book that they can check? Saying that, even if they aren't printed I'd have no idea if they're genuine signatures or not!

If you post a picture, a number of us can verify Kevin's signature for you with 99.9999998% accuracy. Also, hold the signatures under a light. Do they reflect light differently than the rest of the text on the page? Is the page indented from the pen? If either of these are true, chances are they are hand written.

Thanks for the "look at it under a strong light" tip - the 2 signatures certainly look different to each other and different again to the text on the page! Amazing what a change in lighting can reveal!

There is no indentation although they look like they could have been done with a fibre-tip pen rather than ballpoint. Anyway here is a picture, larger versions at http://www.flickr.com/photos/cheeseb...n/photostream/

Those both look legit provided they're not printed. And from what you describe by the lighting, there's no reason to believe they aren't real.

Excellent, thank you. Certainly looks like they're proper signatures then. A nice bonus given that I just bought the book to fill in a gap in my ongoing collection and to have a quick read of the Turtles related articles!
