Wait, they're gonna stretch it out over multiple volumes? Poo.

For what it's worth, Shout's own site still has the catch all 12/31/12 date.

It is a two disc set, so likely just a second volume to finish it off later.

It's kinda lame but wouldn't surprise me. Shout started splitting up their Nick shows after the first wave of releases. Hey Arnold Season 1 was released complete in a 4 disc set with all 20 episodes. Then they released season 2 in two parts with 10 episodes a piece. As long as I can get them cheap on amazon ($10-15) I won't feel too cheated.

Edit: Here's the link for those interested.

They could have at least made the bo look like it's in Don's hands instead it looking like it's just floating behind him.

Bit odd there going for volumes....maybe they'll have the complete series on Shout! Select or something...besides, they released a "complete" set of M.A.S.K as well as a "volume one" for that too, so who knows what the overall plan is.

I've asked Brain Ward if there are any extras. He's yet to respond, but I'll keep you posted

Great, something else for me to buy. XD; The OT sets and some of those comic omnibuses are definitely first on my list though.

I wonder if episodes will be kept intact or castrated like those of UK releases?

Man, splitting up the Next Mutation, something most people are already reluctant to buy?

DVD better at least have 13 episodes so we finish this in two sets.

Nope. That was the only version the UK had. This is the uncut version, the only one the US has. The only noticeable difference is that they had to replace the theme song. The theme song used to be my favorite part. Now, it's just as annoying as the show, itself.

Are we sure they can't use the theme song? Just because they couldn't on Netflix, doesn't mean Shout doesn't have the rights. Heck, are we even sure that's the final box art?

Since the show was just one season, I was hoping they would just release it all at once, but as long as the sets are thirteen episodes each (meaning just two sets), I'll definitely get them.

Should be interesting to see what, if any, special features they include. Though I have the feeling there probably won't be any to speak of...

What do you mean couldn't ? The theme song they use on the Netflix stream isn't the original theme song?

Nope. I'd rather not even call it a "song".
