TMNT amusment park ride?

Batman had one, so does Superman, and Marvel has a whole area of rides at Islands of adventures.

So with the Turtles coming back in do you think they may ever get a ride?
and what do you think it should be?

It should be like the Indiana Jones ride at Disney Land, but like. In the sewers, and with animatronic Turtles...that would be the coolest. I still love that ride, and have riden it at least 100 times...

I think an underground water ride could be cool... like Manix said, put it in the sewers. Maybe make a Leatherhead that pops up infront of your cart, have mousers 'chewing' on the walls, and at the end have an animatronics thing with the turtles drawing their weapons at you.

of course you would have to have lots of cool sound effects, and make it a really dark ride.

Man, why couldn't they have done that 12 years ago when the turtles were dancing around MGM Studios?

My option it should a TMNT ride that's 75x better than Small World. The ride will be call: TMNT Sewer Tour. The entrance would have a large sign and the background would be New York, then you'll go down to a Subway like station you follow the sign till you ended up at the TMNT Lair like in the New Series. There would be an animatronic Splinter pupet that says to take the Sewer Sled to help his sons. You go to the next room and there will be a Sewer Sled like Cart for 4 people at a time. You start picking up speed but it won't be too fast.

You'll see Mousers coming out of the walls like they were about to attack you. Second you'll see Don saying "Come on everyone the Foot has invade the Sewers". Then you'll see several Ninjas coming down of the room. Raph & Leo battle the Foot. Mikey falls off the piller and ends up is a sewer pool. He'll say:"Good thing Turtles can swim". Raphel does a little flipflops and kicks more Foot Ninjas. Shredder enters with the Foot surround the Turtle he orders them to attack then all the lights will turn off.

Red & Yellow Lights will flash rapidly with hard fan blowing. The lights turn back on with Foot all beaten up. And then Leo goes:" Shredder getting away! They run until they end up in a large water source plant. Shredder on the top of a large gate saying: "Drop your weapons! Or New York will be fluded!" Then with out notice he punch a large hole in the tank and all the water pressure knocks him out and he falls into a whirlpool.

Then it show The Turtles back at the Lair celebrating.

It maybe something like that. I could picture it at Universal.

Man if they had built rides back in the hey day of the old toon, who knows what could have been. Maybe a giant roller coaster inside of the Technodrome.

Wow. You've got quite an imagination, JL. I like the idea! It would be so awesome to see a sewer ride someday.

Glad you like my Idea of a ride that's 75x better than Small World. Even a Sewer Sled like cart would look like the one from the TV show.

Problem: It wouldn't last forever; the original cartoon didn't last forever, and even this new one won't. It's not like it's a perpetual comic item like Batman or Superman, it'll die after a short time. In short, it's not a question of IF, it's a question of practicality.

OH... but thats exactly what is so special about the TMNT.... You are correct... don't get me wrong,

TMNT doesn't live constantly like classic comic book superheroes, like Superman, Batman, Spid4erman and X-Men...

TMNT, It will go away for perios of time.

but, IT will ALSO ALWAYS come back.

But there's no point in keeping an amusement park ride around after the craze has died.

That is, unless this is envisioned AS a temporary thing...

How about a special live show with the New Turtles and Casey Jones having his own live sideshow corner where he would tell jokes about the Purple Dragons.

Wow, a Ninja Turtles sewer ride. That would be awesome!

Or maybe they could create the Turtle Van you could ride around in. Just think of what they could do with a real-size Technodrome.

The possibilities would be endless.

Leonardo: "Wanna go again?"
April gives him a dirty look.
Leonardo: "Just kidding!"

A real-sized Technodrome would be the size of a tall skyscraper...another impractical situation.

Plus it's absurd enough to think of making a ride out of a current craze that'll die out soon (this thread is talking about making a TMNT ride based on the current series), but from a craze that's been LONG DEAD and has no place in this generation? Pfft...

How about if Mirage starts it's own themepark! Disney has one why not Mirage! There can be rides based on ALL versions of the TMNT, also Fugitoid, Planet Racers, and Dan Berger's Guttwallow!

A Planet Racers ride would SO rock!!

neat idea but impractical. A TMNT ride is definitely a possibility though.
