A Little Turtle Story II

Well... it was a pretty boring day from periods 1 thru 5 at school... well, an exception to period 2 because we do nothing but roam the internet, even though we're supposed to be programming. So what... anyway, period 6 finally hit where this would mark my final class until weekend started. And reluctantly... we received a good 'ol Biology lesson from Mrs. ***** on the order Chela-something (I don't exactly memorize the name of orders and phylums and stuff). Well... if you didn't know, these involve reptiles (get where I'm going here?).

Anyway, as Mrs. ***** presented her notes and reptilian presentation through Powerpoint (which she can get pretty funny with), she put up pics of various types of turtles. Now understand this... I am a diehard turtle fan and I express my love to them in front of everybody (you could say I've almost started a turtle trend over here now). Anyway... as the teacher was at the last page of her Powerpoint presentation, ready to show the last picture, she looked specifically at me and said, "I chose this picture especially for you, Russell (well, my name isn't exactly Ninja Turtle Nincompoop in veracity, ya know)." And within the click of a mouse... a screenshot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (from the original movie) showed on the huge overhead for everyone to see.

Everyone laughed and talked of the time when Turtlemania was first starting out. And everyone looked at me for some reason (I think they expected me to react crazily... which I did ). All in all, this has been the second Ninja Turtle experience I've had. Actually, there was another one... I'll post the third one sooner or later, because the memory won't leave my head until I type it down and post it. But until then... keep those turtles in your head aaaand... BUY THE NEW GAME COMING IN NOVEMBER!!!

It's a shame how much X-Box can mess up on people. I've heard "things" about it... but I won't complain. As long as they have the Turtles... nothing can go wrong.

things like it having an actual BLUE-SCREEN? you're better off getting the PC version.

Anyway, thats really cool! we watched TMNT 2in my sci-fi class, and did a discussion on a messageboard for school later in the week. its always fun to educate people about what the turtles are REALLY about lol.

Yes, you're much better off playing a PC version that will be much harder to control and will have inferior (yes, INFERIOR) visuals, and that will clog up memory and space and could freeze up at any second etc. etc. etc... I mean, it's just common sense right? No. XBox is good. You all are not. (speaking to the plethora of XBox bashers that have been acting up lately) Anyway, that's a really cool story. My friends and I have started a TMNT trend at my school too. It's great, ain't it?! It's amazing how many people these days still have some repressed love for the TMNT once they see it again and get all nostalgic.

LMAO! Your kidding right? Inferior visuals on the PC? Funniest thing I've heard all day. Harder to control? Even funnier!

Anyway, cool story.

actually, for my computer, it would be harder to control 'cause I don't have a controller or anything

LOL A little Common sense, If you have relatively new PC, meaning XP or P4 and GF3 PC easily tops the visuals of X-box. But if you want to play it with a friend, console is a better choice. Except if the games has online support wich I doubt. So for me it will be the GC version.

And, GC is a lighter more agile system compared to that big clumbsly X-Box. Bigger is SO not better.

Well X-box does have better visuals than GC, but regardless of the HD it still has more loading times. Still it's not any worse than the other ports.

Looks that way judging from the screen shots, but Xbox has potential for better Graphics than PS2 or GC.

So they say, Karpo, so they say.
(Of course each company will advertise their own system as superior)

Anyway, from what I've seen, the graphics and stuff are better on Xbox. Such as the Fellowship of the Ring game for Xbox and PS2, the Xbox version looks better.

Actually that is a fact. And this is coming from someone who owns both PS2 and GC but no Xbox.
