Do the trading cards showcase the original cartoon? Cause if it does, that might mean that they'll be re-aired in the near future.

Could be, but remember they re-released the action figures a few years back to, and didn't air the cartoon at the time. But there IS Suppousedly that DVD of the original series, if that ever comes out....

They are the cards of the ORIGINAL cartoon with a 1990 copyright date on them, and a disclaimer on the front of the package that says not to eat the gum. Here are the pics.

I wouldn't mind getting the old cards, but what I really want now is the gum!

I want to challenge their "not edible" claim!
I've already eaten 7 year old Peanut-butter-caramels out of a TMNT tin.

Does this means those cards weren't even open in the last 13 years?

I don't remember the cards coming with gum. I probably gobbled it up 2 seconds after buying the packets of cards though.

*lol* Yeah.. I saw those cards At Miejers last weekend too. We bought some to give away as trivia prizes at a comic con.
