Nick tweaking the show up to last minute!

Hey guys,

I was comparing some clips, and I notice there are a lot of changes between the training clip we saw at SDCC 2012 and the version that appeared in today's Rise of the Turtles Part 1

They seem minor until you start comparing it side-by-side. Here are some things I spotted

* first and foremost the music has been changed slightly. Not so much the actual song, but the timing of it. it also sounds a little different overall, possibly a later more completed version
* when splinter grab's raph and at the end of the training sequence, he starts gushing tears. then (in the comic-con clip) he bends over and we see electric bolts coming off his head. but in the completed episode, this little part was cut out!

Notice any other changes from the previews?

I noticed that too. Hopefully the "director's cut" will be the version on the DVD and will have that.

The entire Krang sequence was changed. In the original Kraang jumps onto Mike's head again and he runs into a wall, instead of Mike just throwing it off his hand onto the alarm.

They also removed a joke when Raph said, "Even when he's right, he still looks stupid."

I liked that joke so hopefully it gets put back in a later ep.

The version of that shown at Comic-Con was an early animation test.

I think most of those preview scenes was test renders. A lot of them didn't have a background

Yeah I liked that one a lot, they should use it.

In the pre-opening training sequence Raph now says, "Nice try!" when Leonardo hits the mat. I don't think that line was in the clip we were shown a few weeks ago.
