TMNT @ New York Comic Con

funatic · 10-06-2012, 12:51 AM

A place to list TMNT-related things at this year's New York Comic Con, to help those of us who are attending catch all the ninja mutant goodness.

So far I know of the following:
- a panel on Nick's TMNT show on Friday at 6:45
- Ross Campbell will be present in artist's alley
- exclusive print of Tyler Walpole's cover to IDW issue #10 will be available

Has anyone heard of anything else? Any Nick or IDW exclusives? Other writers/artists associated with TMNT present? List it!

I'll be posting all the TMNT-related info I can gather on Ninja Pizza, probably on Monday.

I know Dario Brizuela will be there, and he's got a really sweet print of the Nick Turtles he'll be selling.

Ok, maybe you can post it here too?

Good thread idea. I'll see you all there, I'm excited that NY is finally getting some WELL DESERVED TMNT love this Con!

pl212 · 10-06-2012, 12:29 PM

Who from the drome will be attending?

*Powder* · 10-06-2012, 01:23 PM

I had plans to go for some time but funds just wouldn't permit it. Sucks. Hope everyone has a blast and takes lots of pictures!

Archon_Turtle · 10-06-2012, 02:57 PM

I was going to make last minute plans, and then IDW limited came up with a gun and was like "give me all your money", and I was like "ok".

prophecy718 · 10-07-2012, 06:18 AM

*Zulithe* · 10-07-2012, 06:28 AM

I hope it gets recorded like this year's SDCC panel! I really want to hear what they have to say about upcoming episodes/seasons

Hey all. This might be my first post here. HUGE TMNT fan... from way back to the beginning, before the first TV series. I have all my original 80s comics & figures, NECA, 4Kids set and the latest figures. All the original comics... recently got a Leo tattoo (my avatar).

This year will be my first NYCC. I will be there Saturday. Any more updates on events, artists, exclusives? Thanks!

I hear that Kevin Clash and Erik Larsen is also expected to attend. Too bad all tickets are sold out!

atreyu2112 · 10-08-2012, 06:34 PM

Erik Larsen will be there. Thanks for the heads up!

*Jephael* · 10-08-2012, 08:56 PM

If I wasn't already making plans to go with my cousin to San Diego Comic Con next July, I'd attend.

Heather Breckel · 10-09-2012, 05:55 PM

I'll be there, but as a fan. Next year I might see about losing my case of the lazies and see about getting a table.

It's ready to go - will be posted in the morning (early, for East Coast folks).

*Donnie* · 10-10-2012, 04:19 PM

Rob Paulsen is going to be there, too.

I'll be dressed as...you guessed it, Donatello.

Maybe I'll see some of you there!

Thanks for the info. Didn't realize Dooney would be there! What do his commissions typically run? Is that something artists do over the course of the convention, or mail them out later? And then there are sketches, what do artists charge for those (I'm sure it varies but maybe there's a ballpark? What would Dooney charge, for instance?) New to the con scene and just want to get my bearings before I take the plunge! Any input appreciated.
