Detecting yellowing

I have a few figures that have yellowing detected, but I can't see it.

I usually just get some good natural light, or a piece of paper and look. This does not suffice though.

What techniques do you use to detect yellowing? Does anyone know how AFA does it?

Thanks for looking.

Hey Joe,
I always hold my figures up to sun light, but always starts at corners of the bubbles or inner bubbles if they are yellow I know Afa counts that, but it's just proper lighting to see the yellow is all I can say, when it starts doesn't seem to stop, I have lots of motu figures I saw yellow start and just got worse over time, I keep my figures in pitch black room with temperature control, I think it's def the environment it comes from that starts it, certain areas start the yellowing, it's a horrible thing I hate yellowing but never ending battle to stop it. I try to not have figures that are yellowed but it happens, sorry not much help I don't think anyone really knows how or why I heard a bunch of different thoughts on this but take care

Well that helps. I found a grading summary I got with under cover Leo, and it is the inner blister tray that the yellowing was detected on. Happy it's not the outer blister.

yellowing comes from poor storage. If you store them in a climate controlled house out of sunlight they should not yellow

Thanks dude. I store mine out of the light inside/climate controlled, so I should be good to go.

It just seems like the kings wardrobe because I am told it is there but can't see it.
