Fanfiction Fury

Hello everyone! I apologize for not posting anything in so long,
so have a new, complete TMNT fanfiction from me! As a bonus,
it's OT verse, too (so I'm sure Swedenfan will be happy).

Here it is on ff.net: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8864912/1/Fanfiction-Fury
I'd like it if you leave reviews here, though, just for convenience purposes.

Basically, the turtles our taken on a trip through different genres of fanfiction by a knock-off of Kris Mu,
because they don't know what they're missing by not many fans writing for their universe.

I hope everyone enjoys it!

Just read it and left a review. Nice job, IK. You really did a good job with that fic. The ending had me in stitches.

Thanks, Bubbly! I was a little worried that the ending was too disgusting for everyone. ^_^

I'm actually working on an original fiction right now, but the plot-bunny bit me and wouldn't let go.

There's also one named "Why Aren't They Writing Us". So, whenever a fanfiction is based on the 1987 TMNT show, it's about how less any fanfiction is based on the 1987 TMNT show there are.

Yeah... Actually, I remember some other story where Krang invents a machine that gives people writer's block at some point, too.

I know that there are people that write OT fanfiction, but still nowhere near as many as those who write for other universes.

But I do! Can you imagine that the 2012 show soon has more fanfiction? Season 1's not over yet! I would not write such a story so early, imagine how much things the writers may have to change as the show explains more!

So? Who cares? If things change within the show, writers can always edit their work to fit that or even label it as an AU. I'm all for writing 2012 fiction because it's so much fun.

I agree with Bubbly; Fanfiction is called "fan fiction" for a reason. Any fic writer can write whatever they want. The reason people post their work is usually to entertain people who would enjoy the same type of story that the writer they enjoys.
In a way, every fanfiction, unless the official writers are reading over the author's shoulder, is AU.

Although I'll admit that part of the reason I wrote this particular story was that I felt I owed the users on this forum something,
the reason that I wrote it in the OT universe was because that's the TMNT canon I enjoy the most.
Even then, though, this universe is still only my own. Like in my previous fanfiction on this forum,
I made "executive decisions" to make things more like earlier seasons of the show.

For whatever reason, fans as a whole just don't really feel like writing in OT verse,
and the way to get more people to write for it isn't to tell people over and over to do it;
it would be better to write many quality stories yourself, and possibly commission artists to draw more high-quality OT fanart, and hope that interest grows.

Um, sorry for the short essay there, but I felt like I should share my opinion....
I didn't mean to make it sound so "rant-y." I'm just a young girl, probably not the most informed on this sort of thing, and not
popular or anything, but forums are for discussions, and as
a fic writer myself (albeit an inexperienced one), I feel like I can talk about this sort of thing.

I'm working on fics now. Published two, a third is on it's way.

Nice story, IcyKali! It kinda reminds me of an idea I had where I was gonna do a crossover with my Jephaelverse and TigerFog's ongoing MNT Gaiden comic.

Thanks, Jephael! But I have no clue how that would be anything like my story. I read the first few chapters of that comic, and it seems pretty darn serious in tone.

Yea, but my Jephaelverse is more upbeat like the tone of the original cartoon, though I tend to put in a little bit of drama here and there. I guess it's more the premise of your story than the story itself that got me thinking about this idea.

Jephael, once you had an Archie-based story named "Rescue from Dimension X", where Bebop and Rocksteady finally become good guys. What happened to that? I recall them being cool wrestlers on the Stump Asteroid, and liked it. (It was a little bit like "The Long Road" set in the 1987 cartoon verse). Not your, see

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6481997/1/The-Long-Road

I'm also searching for another Archiefic (think it's called "Something Between the Past and the Future"), not written by you (probably some young fangirl). I recall reading in early 2004. the storyline is something like this: Michelangelo wakes up after a bad dream last night, where Armaggon almost kills off the turtles. The turtles go to the Future (don't know why), where Armaggon is looking for the Turnstone. Armaggon attacks the turtles at Turtleco, but they take the turnstone. The turtles wish all this never happened, and they are back in the New York City sewers of the early-mid 1990's again. I thought it had some grandfather paradox or whatever that made the story more interesting.

Archie actually has many good stories on the Internet, but it would be easier if they were all at Fanfiction Net too.

I decided to scrap that story since I already have them written as goodguys in my Jephaelverse.

OK, but it was still a good story. I'm not a Jephaelverse fan, but a super-fan of your ordinary TMNT stories.

That's kind of a shock. I was under the impression you liked all of my stories.
