Would u rather have the new series or the old ones?

I would personally like to have both of them. I am really getting mad at these t.v idiots, no one is going to air the old series which is pissing me of really bad damn them to hell. I love the turtles but Fox, Catroon N are all blind

Well a good sign about Cartoon Network is that soon they're gonna start showing the old Gi Joe episodes... if they have success showing that series again perhaps they'll consider bringing back other series such as the TMNT.

You really do need to think about this from a different point of view. Yeah, I think we all would like to see the old series on TV again but there're a lot of things a network has to consider before putting a show on the air. One, will enough people watch it? They have to put up shows they think will get good ratings or they'll go down the tubes. Let's say TMNT would get good ratings, that brings us to number two: Expense. They have to buy the show from the production company, and they have to think about whether they can afford it, and will it be worth it over time, and whether the production company even wants to sell the rights to air it.

If the new show does really well, which I'm sure it will, a network may decide to start showing the old show again. These things don't happen overnight, learn to be patient.

I totally agree with HT! I'd love to have both of them air...maybe someone will air the old cartoon if the new one sky rockets in the ratings, which is going to happen, of course. Hey...if the new 'toon does really well, we may see the scrapped CGI show come back to life...

Heh heh...I'm ready to write a nice little letter. Remember, let's keep these letter professional. They won't like a bunch of angry, insulting letters. That will just lower our chances of getting the 'toon on DVD.

that's funny. on YTV on Canada, they are airing old cartoons or shows like Thunderbirds or Mummies Alive. I've never actually requested them to show Ninja turtles but heck, i get some american television so i'm cool with it (but it's from the New York State so hopefully Ninja turtles get shown from there)

I'd like both to be shown but i'd like it in the order of the new one than the old one.

I went searching for the ninja turtle DVD and it's sooo hard to find!!!! i went to like 5 Big Stores and it's not there and i also asked the sales people and they say it's unlikely to find it. Do any of you folks know stores that would sell the DVD version of tmnt that's being sold in a store that might be in Toronto?

it's okay. once the second and third movie is out, the big stores might restock or stock all 3 dvds but i have to wait until September.
