TMNT Movie Props

Hey everyone, I don't know if this has been post before but here my thought: What ever happened to all those cool movie props from the three movies? Where in the world is the animatronic Leo suit from movie one? Or Shredders helmet and facemask from the first 2 movies? What happened to all those foot soldier ninja costumes? Anyone else curious? Anyone have any clues? Just curious, thought it would make a good topic.

There's a Turtle costume arm being sold on eBay right now. A lot of things seem to go up for sale. Or they're stored. Personally I think there are probably a bunch of warehouses like the one in the end of the original Indiana Jones...all full of movie props.

Actually most films sell their props after production is complete. Of course they are sold in huge numbers, and not individually.

In regards to Splinter... go to this thread. If you read the comics, be ware that it's a Spolier! http://www.technodrome.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4817

In regards to this topic about movie props... the best answer is that they are either in a collection somehwere, or being sold. I found it's easier to find props from the third movie, than from the first and second. One of my friends has a good many props from the third movie already. Such as the sausage nunchuks, the turtle's samurai mask, an arm, and just recently, Leo's animatronics head. I actually have a pic of that, I need to get posted on my site... (still wierd to be staring at a disembodied head though!)

I have a few

I've seen some of the props on Ebay as well over the years and have purchased some of them. I actually have the broken TGRI canister from the second movie, a pair Foot soldier stunt swords, a pair of arms and oe of the backups for the redone Shredder helmet from the second movie along with several other pieces of his armor in various stages of preproduction.

Thanks for the kind words. After so many years of collecting/accumulating figures, I almost forget that everyone doesn't have a legion of little plastic men (or whatever) hanging around. Oh well, I never did have any interest in being considered normal.

There's alot of merchandise for the TMNT. What you have is like a collections that's more than 600 dollars worth atleast. You must be very proud to have most of the collectibles. My Cousin that's 2 years older than me was a fan of TMNT once. I not sure if he still has any of the Merchandice he had when he was a kid. But if he wasn't a fan of the show I probably won't of bother to come here. I rarely get to visit him since he from another state.

Pretty soon I'll be having a collection of the New TMNT.

I remenber when there use to of been a Hollywood Cafe near my area. I remenber sseening a Raphel costume under a case. I'm not sure which Costume from which movie thou. Most movie Props get to be displayed at a Museum sometimes. There's even a famous Car Museum in L.A. as well.
