In Memorium Auora Theatre Victims

Hours from now it will be one year since the midnight shooting spree of lone gunman, James Holmes in Aurora,Colorado raiding a theatre showing of Batman:The Dark Knight Rises dressed as a Joker prototype. It left 12 dead and 59 others injured. A number of the dozen deceased vicitims were in my age bracket so it personally affected me. From a young lady two weeks into her first job to a father bonding with his college aged daughters taken far too soon. As time passes it makes it easier for the general public however the area will always carry scars of the senseless death that filled the threate that night. The killer still is jailed pending trail set for February with a plea of not guilty due to insanity. I hope he gets what is coming to him. Since midnight Mountain time might be late I ask at noon tomorrow inspired by Ringo Starr give a peace sign and say "May peace be with Aurora". It may be silly but its full of meaning. This date was one of triumph with Apollo 11's lunar landing now it is shared with a day of tragedy. Now the miracle shares the date with a nightmare.
