Fugitoid and Triceratons

Did any of these characters appear in the original cartoon?

There were plenty of Robots that could've easily been modified to be fugitoid, especially one of them, I don't remember the episode but just change the robots design/name and there. I don't know why we didn't have more toy tie ins early on in the show. We did in season 5 and in that one it felt excessive but before that so many missed opportunities of using characters with toys,

Maac probably was going to be the Fugitoid but PL probably didn't want the character used that way so they turned him into a generic robot. I guess but there's no proof.

It makes sense because he was so protective of Fugitoid, however I don't think Laird/Eastman had any input whatsoever besides making the designs of mutants. I guess it's more logical that the figure only got made because Laird kept pushing for it.

The Triceratons appeared as secondary villains in the Season 7 premiere "Night of the Dark Turtle". While Donatello was out of his mind and following lead after lead to find Shredder, the others were trying to stop the Triceratons from claiming the planet and transporting it to their homeworld to be destroyed. Long story short, Donatello is returned to normal and fixes Shredder's new weapon and uses it to scare the Triceratons off after they were softened up by robot dinosaurs.

There was a Fugitoid action figure produced for the old line though, oddly enough.

What kind of story would Fugitoid have in the OT? Could have made it interesting if he was a scientist from Dimension X or if the name "Honeycutt" would be used.

I gotta be honest I never liked the triceratons and fugitoid, they're cringeworthy in 2k3 and original comic. I much prefer traditional mutants back home than alien dinosaurs and sci-fi robots.

I won't miss them if they will never appear in 2k12.
